Bought the same gpu right around 2018 in the middle of the mining boom and it still works like a charm on gaming and 3D rendering Would recommend use MSI afterburner and set the fan speed to 65% cuz on heavy gaming it almost goes to 80° 🥵

I'm an architecture student. How well does this perform in 3d modeling and rendering? And maybe some light gaming.

I'd recommend spending a little bit more to avoid hair-pulling episodes and long render times hahaha 3d modelling, rendering, and other archi needs are heavy. plus, you'll be doing those a lot, so any slowdowns will really compound over time. Go for better CPU (atleast Ryzen 5 3600), GPU (atleast GTX 1660), mobo (e.g. B450 chipset), provision for more ram, and add HDD for storage

Dear Sir, Currently due to Pandemic we have to work from home, where we get Office Laptop from office where we can not do any installation but work. Can you please suggest any monitor on budget which can view both my Office Laptop OS and my personal Laptop OS side by side in ONE display, I know few very expensive 49 inch monitors from Philips and Samsung can do that while Benq offers the same kind of functionality by pressing KVM switch, But I need in one display two OS side by side in budget category, Can you suggest any..?

That's a very specific requirement. A non-ultrawide monitor wouldn't have enough real-estate to display two 16:9 or 16:10 side by side, so using an ultrawide with that feature is the best solution to this. But as far as I know only the top of the line ultrawide monitors have that feature at least for now. If you're open to other solutions other than ultrawide, the closest thing I can think of that can offer this experience (two OSes side by side simultaneously) on a budget would be a dual monitor setup.

Sharing my setup if this helps. I have a single 27" monitor that can receive 3 inputs. I have my work laptop, personal laptop, and personal PC connected to it. I just then switch the input using the monitor controls (DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA). Doesn't meet your requirement to display simultaneously, but close enough haha

I can't find this one on Amazon but there are plenty of cases you can choose from. It's hard to recommend since it's very subjective and brand availability varies per geo. Just make sure to get the right size for your motherboard. In this build, the motherboard is mATX form factor, so any mATX or ATX case will work. You can check brands like NZXT, Thermaltake, CoolerMaster, Fractal Design, Cougar, Lian Li, Tecware, DarkFlash, etc.
