Agree with you. Had I not had a nerve damage on my right hand, that totally destroys my agility, I would drop the pick entirely. But luckily I can lean on the pick now and let my left hand do most of the job

I just landed on your channel for the first time. I too got my first guitar in 1983 at age 12. In my elementary school you had to join the Rush army or the Van Halen army. My early influence was Alex Lifeson. Interesting parallels. Take care. Mark

Awesome. Finger pick challenge accepted. I can't operate a pick to save my soul anyway. I often use the nail on my pointer finger for my downstroke pick needs if what I'm playing doesn't require upstrokes. I guess I should put in the work but I've developed some interesting techniques to work around this self imposed handicap.
