This was such a beautiful and relaxing video Karen.❤ My sister, who has passed, and I had a great love for the outdoors. Our favourite was walking on the many beaches in our vicinity. Sea-glass was our passion but we certainly didn’t leave behind small driftwood, unique rocks or seashells that may have had ‘potential’. We would show and tell at the end of our day on a beach blanket sipping a cool drink or a coffee from a thermos. Thank you for popping up some very sweet memories and your music paired perfectly!!❤❤❤

What a blessing Karen! Ive always wanted to visit Maine. Im 62 and have never had an opportunity to see a beach Id love to walk around picking up shells and a big piece of driftwood! I sure wouldnt want your winters though thats for sure! Youre looking so nice by the way! Loving your videos 😊❤️

I loved the beach. Very beautiful. I´m the same: I can´t go anywhere in nature (fields, woods, beach ..) without hauling home some treasures. My kids are embarassed and they refuse to carry them for me. 😂 They don´t remember the time when they were collecting stones, sticks, even worms and such and bringing them home. 😅

Loved the beach walk with you! I grew up in Florida and love all beaches. It’s so pretty there in Maine and different from the Florida beaches. My sister took me to Cape Elizabeth when she lived in Portland. I remember it being so pretty and the water was cold! 🐚🐚❤️

That's what I'm doing...Cooling down...Picking up piles of pine cones and needles today...Every day, I have a driveway full of pine cones. I was going to mow the rest of the "East 40"...but, it got too hot too fast...Maybe later. Waded through some more files this morning...

Glad you got to the beach! We have only been to the beach once this year even though we live in 20 minutes from it. We had a get together with our whole family all 28 ish of us it was fun.

Such a beautifully relaxing watch. I love the pine spill circles helping to give back to the trees all the composted nutrients as they breakdown, in return for all the shade they are giving you and your family. That’s what life should always be about - fair exchange amongst everything that shares our beautiful planet. Karen, you looked so relaxed walking at the beach. I agree, it is the ‘noticing’ of the world around us and the beauty that brings the joy. I loved the haul, so many content creators hauls on YT these days are all about constantly buying needless stuff to fill an emptiness (not just in a house, but in the mind too), just for a quick fix or simply for something to do. Your haul today was so much more constructive, naturally life affirming and benefitting.

I don't do many crafts (well, except with preschoolers) so the only thing I can imagine with shells and driftwood and maybe stones (any with holes?) is wind chimes. Actually as I think about it, my mom (now a grand-senior) (because I am a senior) made a bunch of tiny nativity scenes in larger shells with tiny beach pebbles and sea glass. They are super neat. The one she gave me is only a couple of inches wide and tall. Others were a bit bigger, especially if they had more figures like sheep. Does your beach have tiny smooth pebbles or sea glass? You made me want to visit our local small lake that has a beach for the kids. Some entire summers go by without me remembering to go which is certainly a missed opportunity.

It occurred to me watching your recent videos how much easier you get around these days, I’m sure even before your fall you wouldn’t have been able to do all the things you find so easy now, that’s wonderful to see, you’re busy as a spring bee for sure and I’m loving every minute of it for you. I have lived in Maine my whole life! I am the youngest of 3 girls. The middle sister moved to FL for her husband’s job. The oldest moved there much later. My parents became snow birds when they retired. They left me!!😂 Honestly I am ready to try living somewhere else! Maybe someday…

Lovely beach! Where did you go? I’m really craving a trip out and have been looking at cottages to rent. I had mentioned the selling pine cones on eBay. I’ve been trying to talk my other Mainer friend to sell from his huge forest of trees. So simple to pick up a couple of buckets full on a walk every morning! ❤

@@ThisMainerMom One of the deep flat rate post office boxes goes for around $14 postage. I’m thinking $30 total would be a good price. Maybe pick up a box and see how many would fit. Toss em in tape it up and ship it out. Advertise on this utube channel. Easy! ❤

Is that the Atlantic Ocean? It’s so clear. Where I live, the beach is about 1 1/2 hours away. We have the Gulf of Mexico and the water is not that nice looking.
