PeaceHealth nurses start Honor Walk to thank organ donors

Caregivers from across PeaceHealth’s hospital in Springfield, Oregon lined the halls to pay tribute to a patient whose last wish was to be an organ donor. “The Honor Walk is a way for us as caregivers to show thanks to the patients for their organ donations and support the family.” Nurses started the new tradition to recognize loss and lives impacted by organ donation.
