God bless you GDR... Love your books... Shantaram was brought to my Indian spirit by my now deceased friend ...a beautiful Yorkshire girl.... I devoured it in three sittings.... Over a decade later after many more life adventures of my own I have been sitting in bed reading The Mountain Shadow... It feels like coming back to meet a friend who I have not seen for over a decade .... And as I have just finished chapter 28, I felt the urge to check the 'real' Lin Baba out' ☺️ And wow...he is just like I imagined him...spiritwise.... 🙏

I hope you write a novel on H division one day Greg. I used to live near Pentridge and climbed up on the roof of the labour yards to have a look. After it closed of course. Those tiny, cramped yards where so many great writers spent their days. So much history and so much horror.
