The batter would be fluffier beaten w a mixer and if you add a 1 t of baking powder it will rise more. A splash of milk in the juice you can do to.If you don’t want to use the oil you can use melted butter.

I made peach cobbler as a teen. One box of jiffy yellow cake mix on top of baking dish of fresh peaches (canned works). Then top with sugar to taste ( half cup?) And then butter dollops (one stick?). Do not stir/mix. Bake till done.

I'm from Georgia and everything I make peach cobbler it turns into a peach cake, but I use the recipe 1can 1cup flour 1cup sugar. For some reason I don't have enough liquid. But anyway it's good 👍
