Realistically, she's able to beat Bowser up and endure blood lusted attacks from him. The reason she gets kidnapped is because she's probably tired of ruling her kingdom after Bowser invades.

She’s got power and she knows it, but she rarely uses it because she knows she doesn’t have to, she’s being captured by a guy that cares a ton about her, even at the beginning of the video he very kindly and gently moves her out of the way before letting the others have it, and in the first galaxy he also leaves her castle completely intact despite the other shenanigans (which was just to make the toads freak out btw so they couldn’t band together and work against him, not that that’s terribly hard to do with most of them, but he also didn’t actually hurt any of them) someone that didn’t care wouldn’t bother doing all that. YES I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THIS VIDEO! This is what I've been trying to tell people, Peach is not a Damsel. She's a strong female character who just happens to need help on occasions. She's shown many times to rival the Mario Bros in terms of athleticism. And she's helped them numerous times! Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 3D World and Super Princess Peach being my favorite moments from her. Unlike Princess Zelda, who's a completely worthless character that does nothing for the Legend of Link series and is just there to be a passive female trophy at the end of the game.
