What an incredibly important *and* beautiful piece of WWII history.

Outstanding video on the aircraft. Loved watching The movie Murphy’s War with this plane bombing the submarine. Thanks for the great job.

Have seen pictures and videos of the Duck, and it always looks so cool on the water...and can totally understand how the ground landing can be hairy!!! Great episode Bruce!!!

Freaking fantastic content! Although, by the look of Will's face he's wondering if the pilot is going to use the stick as his microphone. LOL

Haha, thanks! That's typical Will Ferrell facial expression...right?

Amazing plane, Bruce - even more amazing the individuals that can fly it. I sat in - what MUST be the world's largest water craft - the Hercules H-4 some years ago - never to be forgotten! I loved Will Ferrell's "DoubleU Tee Eff" look when you started singing. I've had many of those myself - from not from Will I hasten to add. I created a painting of H-4 just coming loose from the water and when I checked later, I discovered that the very day I placed my signature on the original, it was exactly 45 years to the day that Hughes proved his baby could fly. Hope you can make it to the AZ Fine Art Expo where I'm showing right now.

Epic experience flying in that Duck. That's a cool coincidence signing 45 years later... I checked out H-4 at Long Beach many years ago.

@@CHOPPERGUYHD - I saw it at the Evergreen museum. The guides were equally great fellas. Ours must have been 80 years old, showing me the controls when sitting exactly where HH had sat all those years previous.

Speaking of Biplanes Bruce... my grandfather restored and owned a Beechcraft Staggerwing. I flew in it a few times as a kid. Talk about a blind landing. I believe it's in a museum in Florida now. Keep the vids coming. 👍👍

OMG, the Staggerwing, a beautiful..beautiful aircraft! Can't wait to fly one on Chopperguy.

My Gramps had articles in Flying 1959 & Sports Aviation in '66. He sold it in the late 70's and bought a Piper Comanche. Ugh!!!!! Lol.
