The Peasant's Revolt had a much greater impact on the institution of serfdom than your conclusion suggests. The outcome was more or less a stalemate. Meaning that the landlords and the peasants could not force their will on either side. Groups had to negotiate. And this fact created the conditions for wage labour to replace serfdom: "In fact, this is no longer a true feudal nobility, but no more than a landed bourgeoisie with noble names, who can thus no longer exist simply from the land which their serfs had previously been forced to cultivate for them. If they wish to attract labourers back into their service, without once again having to keep them down by the use of force, they must now offer them something with which they too, having in large part failed to set themselves up as peasant proprietors, can establish a secure existence." Gunnar Heinsohn and Otto Steiger, "Money, Productivity and Uncertainty in Capitalism and Socialism" (1981). The lords themselves encouraged the erosion of feudal systems of compulsory service for monetary compensation. So, yes, the Peasant's Rebellion failed as a revolution. But it began the processes which would completely change the social order of England.

The original SigmaMale grindset uprising more like. This vid has missed out a pretty key part that was the match to ignite the flame, and was local crown authorities in the villages would feel their hand up the village women dresses to feel if they were married or not so they could note what taxes applied. This sexual violation of their women and daughters was what really set them off, because quote 'they weren't no cucks' It also ended Serfdom. Doesn't get much more based than that.

@OlaftheFlashy8 жыл бұрын
I'm presuming you mean the first one in red? I might be wrong but I think that's Jean-Jacques Dessalines, a former officer of French army who became a leader of the Haitian Revolution and the first ruler of an independent Haiti under the 1801 constitution, initially as governor-general, he later named himself Emperor Jacques I of Haiti. The other black guy is Idi Amin - but I'm sure you already knew that.
