We have one of these. Well made and certainly a high quality product. One thing to note: when cornering, the speed must be dropped significantly to avoid tipping over. We love the trike, but are careful with how it's operated.

If there is only PAS for selection 1 and 2, what does 3 do? I have this trike and love it but I find there is little difference when in Gear 3 and selection 2 or 3.

I have to go down a steep hill, to get to a bike path. Is there danger of tipping, if I go slow,without power assistance

So, the only wheel that receives electrical power ism the front. The right rear is driven by peddling. And the left rear is a free wheeling wheel. Right? There is no differential in other words.

Haha! I like the practicality of the bucket! I haven't checked, but I'm sure that you can take it off if you want.

@@PeterLoweOne There are dozens of baskets that could go in that spot. Just look around at the other trikes on the market. The Pedego trike is already ugly without that black plastic thing on the back.

@@xflyingtiger I agree that even within Pedego's lineup, they have better looking accessories to carry things, but I still think it's practical, lightweight, and simple. You raise a great point though! Pedego should come out with accessory replacements for that cargo holder.

This one has that. I know Pedego is evolving this and I haven't seen the next generation yet, so I can't say for sure what it will have.

This thing is great! It's fun! It's smart! It would be great for a lot of people who wouldn't be able to get out as easily on a bicycle. I ride all different kinds of two wheelers and this little three wheeler put a big smile on my face!
