This brings me back when I watched the Twitch vod of Christmas commercials in December 2019. I regret not having a Twitch account at the time I had so much to contribute to that stream. I watch it every year and this has become a Xmas tradition next to watching the Xmas episodes of MST3K. I personally remember these commercials myself as a kid.

It might also be because I've seen films where actors and actresses who have played brothers and sisters in other films have then played husbands and wives. A good example is Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in Godzilla (husband and wife) and then Avengers: Age of Ultron (brother and sister; not helped by the fact the characters had an incestuous relationship in the Ultimate universe).

My sister and sister in law actually got a vacuum cleaner for christmas this year, and they were so excited about it they were like little kids with new toys on christmas. it was hilarious. Merry Christmas Peebs! I hope you have a great one!

I know this is an emotion drop so I’m sorry in advanced- my boyfriend just broke up with me yesterday, and I had to move home back with my parents, and we have to figure out how to fairly deal with our dog. Idk, as a struggling adult, a vacuum and other essential household items sounds WAY better than random presents that don't mean anything. One of the best gifts I've ever received as a young adult was a huge box of non-perisables and a bulk amount of meat from my parents. That was all I got, and it was $200-$300 worth of groceries I didn't have to buy. It lasted me 2 months. It was awesome.

Awesome video! All these commercials I’ve seen over the years, especially the Campbell Soup commercials. That was always a classic one. But was that a snow kid who came into the house and melted? Poor kid! That was one of Frosty’s children! How could you do that to him? And that McDonalds commercial reminds me of the Lion King. I think they were advertising the Rudolph movie (not the Rankin/Bass one) the one where Whoopi Goldberg is one of the voice actors on there. The other commercials look fun too.
