A little sprints of water rubbed on the transfer tape will help wonders with that tug at the end. Might save your shoulder down the line. :) Love your videos and just watched your table video. Really awesome!

Dave , I’ve been doing this method for twenty years now. Of course you have a nice set up. Personally I got a lot more joy out of making signs when we actually layout and lettered . No true skill needed with vinyl. It’s all in layout and design skills. But you do have the magnets going on.... The Sign Market

im using the R tape brand. one issue i hate with it is that it curls up at the ends or sides. i want to all to stay flat like in this video. especially if im going to just give to customer to let them install it. i wanna make sure its presentable and not all janky .

Why not use your laminator to apply that sign over with your laminator? Hand applications are prone to bubbles and creases

What type of transfer tape are you using? I need to find one that sticks to the vinyl and paper rather then lifting and only sticking to the vinyl. Does that make sense? Thank you!

No such think. Mask is only designed to stick to the vinyl. Also, the paper has a wax finish so no matter what you use it should not stick to the paper backing. Not sure why you would want it to stick to the paper backing.

Yeah I thought I may have been missing something since yours laid flat, whenever I print a customer install the transfer tape always curls and sometimes causes a mess so I was looking for other options. Thanks for the reply!

all these sign guys have different methods, so i dont understand why companies are very anal about techniques. At the end of the day the customer doesnt know the difference, and it all comes out the same pretty much.
