Well done man Martial arts and music for some reason go hand in hand. Great show Black P do more with Raph also busking is slightly different from street performance as far as my experience busking is for money either by donation in your guitar case (people passing by putting money in) or selling your albums in Scotland we need a licence to do that but most don’t bother and police can move us on. I used to do it all the time when I was younger

Evil Ren is raging “I am you. You are me, Ren!” He is playing up the neck of the guitar -ramping up the beat and ramping up emotions. Then Ren slowly and calmly plays back down the neck of the guitar. I “hear” that little transitional moment as a musical representation of a coping skill. It’s like a deep breath, a long exhale. Ren’s music is exciting and your reaction videos never disappoint.

16:00 I just realised that the room is a representation of his conciousness/mind/humanity. So him being in a hospital gown, represents his battle with the health issues. The lamps represent the dark and light - that they are both part of him. But the light side of him is most of who he is, but he acknowledges that he also has the dark in him. So with the little lamp flickering, that's representing the eternal fight. Dark side of him trying to extinguish the light inside of him. The colour gradient and texture of the room represents what his illness was making him see the world becoming. Lacking colour, cracks and deteriorating. The only colour comes from ren himself. Blue gown, pink cushion on the wheel chair. And finally the pig is health care system. The pig puts him there. Just how the health system is the one that put him in place of side affects and psychosis. They literally put him there, left him and he had to learn on his own how "to stand on his own 2 feet"

Yes, the opening with classical guitar RIVITED my attention....and the rest is just a roller coaster ride that sounds like my subconscious. My Amish heritage lead me to believe "talent" was inconsequential. the important things were total submission and hard, constant work. Music and art were things rich people wasted time doing. Pride was a sin. I must admit I was proud as a teen when a work of art I made hung in the Pentagon. Pride was to be immediately crushed. Something I thought might make my parents proud. I'm healing as an adult. Some day, I might paint again. I wonder how many people out there had things they were good at, and proud of, but the VOICES kept telling them they would never be good enough; and that it was a waste of time. Screw those voices.

How am I STILL loving these?! I think I have watched them all. At this point I have to admit that I love your love of REN and music and sharing music every bit as much as I love REN’s music. Is that sacrilegious? I hope not, because that appears to be what is happening. You sir, are a deeply wonderful person. I love what you are doing in promoting REN, and I love your whole dang personality, enough to make me pour a tumbler of malt liquor every time I see a new drop. Sharing that with you even though you don’t know it or me. Hope you have a glass of malt liquor at some point in honor of all the people you will never meet who truly appreciates you. You absolutely rock sir, you really do.

Man, I just discovered Ren and, therefore, just discovered your channel. I’ve been binging you putting all of these industry people on Ren’s music and I’ve gotta say, this has been one of my favorite things to watch, maybe ever. Living vicariously through the people watching, and the respect that you guys show to the music and the artistry of the videos. But also, that you are so passionate about his music that you put so many other people on to it, combined with his story and all of the stuff that he’s been through. It’s just so wholly wholesome. I can’t thank you for these videos enough. You’re great, your guests are always great, and, of course, Ren is great. Thank you for doing these, and being a light spot in this dark world.

The smaller lamp is on the "good" side and is brighter. If you look at the shadows on the floor, it casts a darker shadow. The lamp on the "bad" side gives off less light (partly due to the shade) and the shadow is casts is much lighter. The camera and light placement also makes it so that his face is mostly in shadow when he is his "bad" side and much better lit when in his "good" side.
@TornSoul062473

Not only are the lamps different sizes, the spaces on either side are different sizes. There's so much clutter and crap on the floor of the dark side, the lamp can't fit into the space. It's been pushed out around the corner, diminishing it's ability to illuminate that space. The good side is clean with no clutter, and the table and lamp fit perfectly into the space, and illuminate that space completely.

@BlackPegasus not sure how many people notice it but its worth watching the shadows and how they flicker and switch. They are definitely intentional as there is an extra light high and out of shot specifically just to create the harsh shadow on the evil side and the shadow on the good side is weaker and faded. Not sure how much can be read in to them but I'm sure they were intentional. When I looked up Sams KZbin channel it also struck me that his first description of what he does if "Love to play with Shadows" or something like that. So I think its very intentional.

There is a beautiful movie that has great representations of the Busking Culture with Robin Williams called August Rush. It's one of my favorites.

This area of Briton was set aside to encourage artists to perform. My old home town started trying to revitalize downtown by setting aside a specific area where people could walk and openly carry alcoholic beverages and the recruited musicians to busk and held artist markets - food trucks and farmers market’s Thursday Friday and Saturday. BP maybe you could push for something like this in your city 🙃

Check out the shadows that are cast on the floor from ren. When the darker "ren" is talking the camera shift between the three camers that puts the darker ren more into focus. And same with the "light" Ren only on the left side. If you notice because of the lighting the dark ren has some light and the light ren has some dark, a true yin and yang.
