Peljesac Bridge, Croatia - night driving

The Peljesac Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Croatia. The bridge spans the sea channel between Komarna on the northern mainland and Brijesta on the peninsula of Peljesac.
Construction started on 30 July 2018, and the bridge was connected on 28 July 2021.The bridge and its access roads opened for traffic on 26 July 2022. The bridge is a total of 2,4 kilometers long and 23,6 meters wide.

Congratulations for this exceptional piece of engineering and infrastructure !! Just a bit of history: The inland expressway, called "Bratstvo-Jedinstvo", was built with a help of USA, the later Adriatic "Magistrala" (an two lane road) between the North West ans South East Adriatic coast, was build with the USA Financement (over 90%). in the late 80ties, the International bank for Development intended to finance the construction of an real highway along the Adriatic cost, Shell also proposed to finance it with an 20 year concession to sylph fuel to service stations, but the then Serbian majority in the governing bodies preferred to invest into ans trans-Yugoslavian highway connecting Europe to the middle east, pretending that this road will be used yearlong and not only for tourism during summers moths of the Adriatic Highway! Few years latter, the Yugoslavia was no more!!!
