Why not use a piece of platic pipe around the hose and into the hole to avoid getting saturated, especially since the edges of the hole are sharp and can damage the hose.

I know what you mean about going far away from home base but I'll go wherever I'm needed, provided they are willing to pay. The furthest I've been is about 4 hours one way. Generally, I'll only do that for someone I've worked with before who knows I'm the man for the job and are comfortable with what I've charged in the past. Those types of jobs are usually larger jobs that can more easily absorb the added expense of my drive time. If somebody calls me for a toilet clog and they are far away, I'll tell them they'd probably be better off finding someone local if they can. I was once on the job for 15 minutes and done and I charged $600 because of the drive. The customer knew ahead of time that it was going to be a hit but they wanted me to go anyway. They were happy to get the toilet working again. In fact, they were so happy, they called me back when one of their guests clogged a different toilet a couple of months later. It was a penthouse condo on Miami Beach so I didn't feel too guilty about charging them. 😁

This might be a dumb question, but why can't you push roots to the street instead of bringing them towards you?
@runechristensen4709 ай бұрын
If you push something it will expand and block, but if you pull it will be easier to extract.

Someone should be able to 3D print something that slips over the bottom edge of those holes you drill to prevent shredding your hose. Or maybe just put a hole in one of those rubber plugs you use to cap the hole afterwards.

You have to stop starting that engine like that. Your loading up the compression in the line, & if the bypass doesn't kick in straight away, you will, damage the starting system, or burst the hose.
