Its probably because they believe they deserve high class stuff and the fact that he isnt taking her to a classy place reflects his respect for her, which has some reasoning behind it but not as much as this imo but he intended to take her to a classy place but couldnt and it was her fault he couldnt. Its a red flag if your dates first choice is to take you to a fast food place instead of a normal restraunt. Honestly the stereotypical anime cafe date are a good example of a place to take someone for a date or socializing in general. I didn't watch the full video, I'm gonna come back to it to see but it's just sad to me that people sometimes do make this stuff up for attention. People can't always tell real situations from staged, especially kids. So to them, it can promote that kind of behavior, creating real situations and problems. People can't just make genuine content anymore. Everything has to be full of lies and scams to be successful rn. Can't genuinely just be good. Prime example would be tik tok. Actual brain rot. Of course that's where this video came from I imagine. That's exactly why I don't have it downloaded on my phone.
