"period got you trippin". That is so wonderful. If I was writing a screenplay this would be the perfect line to set up a character. The brevity with which this tells you so much about the character is honestly genius. It is manipulative, misogynistic, douchey and yet flippant and glib.
@SneakyWindex11 ай бұрын
I don't do this, and this is purely hypothetical but if the woman this is being said to in said "Screenplay" often times starts fights, or causes issues out of nowhere and then blames them on the fact that she has her period. Would it still be misogynistic given the context?

@@SneakyWindex Nah, it’s just douchey to blame any negative feelings a woman has on her period for no reason. If she’s using that unfortunate event to escape accountability, that’s a different matter. I’m a girl and I would never in a million years use my period to excuse my clown behavior
@redred770211 ай бұрын
@@SneakyWindex Yes, especially if the male also then comments on it. Because both parties should know better that a period makes you mildly irritated at best, and in a lot of pain at worst, not outright violent if the opposing party didn’t fucking do anything. A woman’s period doesn’t mind control them. The person that says it and context is very important. If someone who’s “allowed to say something offensive” says it, it doesn’t give consent for people who shouldn’t be saying it in the first place to also say it. Also, no sane person in real life will blame anything other than irregular hunger and pain on their period. If someone actually blames their shitty mood and behaviour on their period, it’s a red flag. Which means that said hypothetical character would just be bad writing.

“Life is short, have an affair” Literally what the fk? 💀 When you marry someone or choose to date someone, you make a commitment to be loyal to one another, and it’s not just “no big deal” to cheat on a person you are supposed to love and care for. If you want to have relations with someone else, your partner deserves to know because nobody should have to go through the absolutely heart-wrenching pain of finding out that your partner has been unfaithful. Cheaters don’t take into account how traumatizing being cheated on is to their partners and it’s disgusting. Life IS short when you look at it objectively, that’s why you should look for ONE (unless you are poly) person who you genuinely want to spend the rest of your life with. The other option is to stay single and sleep around or be single for the rest of your life. I know which one I would pick 🤷🏻♀️

@rubystone907411 ай бұрын
I kinda agree with this. From all the stories and what not I've read (cheaters regrets in particular) they love their partners, but overtime they start taking them for granted. They want that "spark", the "excitement" they once had, and instead of, idk TALKING about it with their partner, they look somewhere else. Usually, under the pretense of "It'll only happen once," which then turns into "They don't appreciate me anyway." And then ultimately, "What they don't know won't hurt them" They create a fantasy where they can have their cake and eat it to and no one gets hurt. Eventually it becomes normal and they hardly feel the guilt. But suddenly, they're partner knows, and it's only when that fantasy crumbles that they realize and see the damage they've caused. Now, how they react is a whole other conversation, but in the end, they fall, and reality wins once again.

Can you explain this in context please? Does this mean 1: The female client list are the ones all these men are pursuing. Meaning that those 10% involved hooked up with those 90% that were paying and seeking a female. or 2: There was simply a 10% client list of women willing to cheat on their partners from the selection of women offering a service who are in contract of employment with Ashley Madison. or 3: A hybrid of both options, where the females are cheating on their partners, and attempting to hook up with someone of their taste within the 90% male populace that inhabited the website.
