I mean, the ear shots were his own fault. I even slowed it down on the original video to check, and the majority of the rounds, RSC would turn his face just a bit so that his opponent would slap his ear. Like, if you didn't want your ear to get hit, you'd turn your face a little to the left, increasing the distance from your opponent and your ear. Instead he turns his face right, which shortens that distance. Plus, the way he called the fight and self-proclaimed himself victor before the 'refs' could look back at the tape shows that he was actually getting ear-shot on purpose to disqualify him.
