Jesus Christ is the only one that can set you free, save you, he shares the gospel and the message of peace, love, righteousness and the truth. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians and Romans makes it very clear that you cannot be committing the following sins and all of these sins are an abomination, and people living that lifestyle won’t be saved, but the good news is that Jesus made a way for us to be saved, if you sincerely seek him, ask him to change your mind, heart and soul, and ask him to fill you with his holy spirit, you can become one of his followers and a child of God and to be born again, Jesus said you must be born again and we have to make him lord of our lives and be obedient to him and keep his commandments. If you try to find satisfaction and happiness in materialistic stuff and stuff outside of God, you will not find it, Jesus Christ can fix anyone’s struggles. Jesus Christ can set you free of anything. I encourage you to become a follower of Jesus and to make Jesus lord of your life, if everyone lived like Jesus Christ, picked up their cross everyday, and follow his word this world would have no wars and corruption. Ministry of the Word and Dan Purden provide great deliverance and discipleship and you should watch their ministry on KZbin, they also offer prayer and great ministry. A good bible to read is the King james. NIV and ESV are recommended as well

Great memes, interesting things and information and lovely communities but these ppl and the power tripping mods just overshadow it all

Yeah. There are of course weirdos on Reddit, just like any other social media platform of any kind. But I have gotten real value out of reddit several times. Things like getting help when I'm stumped by a technical issue, have a question about a hobby or some other interest I've recently gotten into etc. This is pretty specific story but for example I live in Arkansas which has medical marijuana. I got my first card ~3 years ago. Found the Arkansas medical marijuana sub-reddit. I started posting there and genuinely everyone I've ever interacted with there (been participating for ~2 years) has been great (can only think of one guy that was just an a hole to everyone but he got banned). Friendly, helpful, polite etc. TLDR; of course not EVERYONE on reddit is a creep like this guy. Heck, I made a post the day of the yearly cannabis expo they have here just saying I was there and shared a few pics of some cool stuff that was on display. Someone commented they were there as well in the food court area and said they were there alone chilling waiting for a friend's presentation on making edibles at home (not his current job but his previous one was working in the industry) and that we could just check out the show floor together. No pressure or anything, just an offer. So, I thought what the hell and sent him a DM and we met up at the expo (a VERY public spot). Was just a super chill, friendly guy. Had a great time checking out all the booths together etc. Was interesting/fun talking to him since he had worked in the industry etc. Def more fun than if I had walked around alone (and helped with my anxiety). And when I was ready to leave, I shook his hand and said thanks for the offer to meet up this was fun. We said goodbye and went our sep ways. That was it. I still see him on that sub-reddit regularly, he's never even DM'd me since or anything. Wouldn't mind doing the same thing again next year and a few people commented later that they would like to join next time.

I genuinely hate people who do this. Like they'll follow or add you on one social, and you chat for a bit thinking they're chill, but they're not. Then, when you stop talking to them, they blow up your phone or keep talking weird until you get annoyed and block them. Next thing you know, they randomly find you on some other social media, and they continue to press you. Like bro, if i wasn't interested in you before, then take the hint. I genuinely wanna know what goes thru these people's minds. I know when to back off and give space. i had a similar experience and I agree! I gave one of my classmates my number so we could be friends and possibly hang out more. we kinda did, until, after only a couple weeks of actually knowing each other, he asked if we could be more than friends in an email. He barely knew me. didn't know my age, where i lived or even what i looked like. And so, wiping tears away from my face because I felt betrayed, I declined his offer as politely as I could and explained that I'm aroace. He, of course taking it like a champ, said that was fine and we could still be friends. Bad idea on my part. We continued being friends until he started to flirt with me, and about a day after he started flirting, I blocked him on everything. A couple nights ago, I received a strange text saying, "hey hope ur doing well gn :D" I hadn't bothered to ask who it was from due to me blocking the number, but I just have an inkling that it was him...

As a man who once was like this I can at least speak on my experience. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, which in simple terms gives people an intense fear of abandonment. I would do this to people who I was obsessed with because I was trying everything in my power to avoid being abandoned by these people that I didn’t care what I did or say. It’s a sad mental disorder for sure and I wish people got more help for it.

I'm a woman, and it's so stigmatized that it makes me feel like there's always something wrong with me just for existing bc people assume i'm just like everyone else they've met with BPD. I absolutely hate having abandonment issues and the self sabotage that happens when I'm in a stable, healthy relationship or friendship with someone. I can understand that perspective and worry if I come off wrong just trying to check on someone to see if we're still cool.

But I just wanna say it does go away if a person puts in enough work! I went into remission a couple months ago and it’s made life more vibrant and much much easier to navigate. It seems to me you don’t have a tendency to use it as an excuse which is great! I fully believe in your ability to recover from this beast without a doubt :)
