My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

I love the Bateman speech. Now for his little brother. My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone

What does "lubricate organs" even mean? Do they mean hydration lol? Or is water supposed to work like WD-40. If he means literally lubricating organs, our body already takes care of that- we have a thin membrane called peritoneum that surrounds, insulates, and provides lubrication to avoid friction between organs. This is like when people hype up pH water and claim it neutralizes the acidity in your bloodstream. Our body regulates our pH levels, it still goes through the stomach (high acidity levels), and drinking water definitely is not neutralizing the acidity in your bloodstream. If the acidity in your bloodstream was off, you would need more than water. pH water at best doesn't do much and at worst, apparently can cause dry skin and should be avoided by those with kidney disease

Id just like to add, I’m working on becoming a journeyman plumber. I’m really fucking good at my job, so I’ll pretty much be guaranteed $50-$70/hr. My morning routine is, and will not change, letting my alarm ring 6 times (after snoozing each time), getting up, hastily getting dressed, and showing up to work barely on time. No food, no coffee, just suck. I hate the mornings lol.

Psychology student here! Charlie is correct about making your bed first thing in the day. What actually is improving your productivity is the release of dopamine. Dopamine is known as the pleasure hormone, and it’s heavily involved in reward and motivation. Also, another way dopamine is released is through drugs (especially things like marijuana or cocaine or Adderall), so you could argue that making your bed is free drugs Edit: I was being extremely sarcastic in the last sentence. It may help get the day started, but it’s definitely not free drugs. Sorry I didn’t make that clear

Maybe you just gave yourself hypothermia? You aren't supposed to take them for very long. Besides that, you can't get any pathogenic illness from cold. Not a cold shower, not wet hair, not having a window open, etc.

@@gooseiithis might sound really stupid so just bear with me, but I thought Hypothermia meant like “so cold that your body goes into shock and you die”. How could they have hypothermia and still be 100% alert and stuff? Doesn’t it slow down your body and your brain?
@leiah65146 ай бұрын
@@angrycat6954 That’s hypoxia. Hypothermia is just a loose term for being in too cold of an environment for too long. Uncontrollable shivering and bluish fingers is what most people refer to hypothermia as.
@leiah65146 ай бұрын
That’s not getting sick, it’s just hypothermia. Guaranteed you just too long and too cold of a shower before going to school, then sat in a generally cold room so they couldn’t really have time to warm up. Cold showers are only meant to be around 60 degrees (which feels a little cold compared to room temp), and as teenager you didn’t do enough research or thought into how it should be. You cannot get sick from the cold, it’s literally just called hypothermia lol

The morning routine things always irritate me. Like get up at 5am, work out, cold shower, and a million other things. Bitch I wake up at 5 am, wash my face, brush my teeth, fill my coffee mug, throw my lunch and breakfast in my bag and run off to the bus at 5:30. If I do all these other things I'll be going to sleep as soon as I get home, and wake up at 3am. Also I tried a trial of an app to make better habits. The first week was "drink water when you wake up" which I already do because I haven't had water in 8 hours, and my medication makes me need more water in general. It wouldn't let me skip that one so I'd have to follow the thing I already did, and then pay like $200 after that for more "advice". No thanks. I definitely heard a Podcaster say I need to get 30 minutes of sunlight every morning before I start my day. I'm a construction worker, in Canada. Not happening.
