To be fair this won’t MAKE you rich, but I understand why a lot of rich people and celebrities DO these things. Exercise and gratitude practices help confidence and appreciation of the world around you, which are important attributes for someone who wants to be successful. Getting other people to like you all starts with liking yourself. If you love yourself and you’re genuinely interested in the people you meet, then the world will respond and love you back. Edit: also gratitude journalling is a hell of a dopamine hit. When you sit there and think about all the good things in the day, you get a rush of serotonin, endorphins and dopamine which are all chemicals that fight depression. Exercise does the same thing. It’s not as immediate as going on your phone and playing computer games, but with consistent practice these healthier habits pay off. Being addicted to technology is proven to cause depression

@@HayP-b7m yeah that’s… not it, really. This is a nice theory, but it is not that simple. Also the gratitude thing - what if nothing good happens for a long time? Sitting there trying to think about something good will depress you even more!

@@HayP-b7m lmfao I do not get dopamine when I think of the things I'm grateful for. Uhhh.... I'm grateful that I have a dilapidated home full of black mold and roaches, instead of living on the streets, I guess. Uhhhhh I'm grateful that I have 3 cats that have given me company and some sort of oxytocin. Even though ultimately I can't afford them and I probably shouldn't have them I'm not well and I'm not the best owner. 😞 But for the record I have never gone out of my way to get a pet, and probably never will. I just end up with cats somehow. Uhh I guess I'm grateful that my mom at least kinda halfway loved me I think. I guess I could end up like one of those people who never received an ounce of love. I'm grateful that I can cope by believing an apocalypse will happen soon. Idk....

Apart from not having an alarm, I'm basically the same. I sleep for 2 Hours, I need to piss. I sleep for another Hour, I need to piss, then I sleep for another 2 Hours and I need to piss, then I sleep for about an Hour and a half and then I piss, then I wake up at 4:20 and then have my Billy and then piss again. Then I sleep for another 2 Hours or less and then piss again, and by that time it's sunrise so I can't go back to sleep until like 12 AM or 1 PM. I'm not even joking, sometimes I wake up like half a dozen times to piss even when I haven't drunk any water for Hours and Hours. My throat becomes so dry and sore but because I'm so hungry and it's so cold sometimes, I just always need to piss even when I haven't drunk any liquid.

So, my dad actually worked as a house manager for a billionaire with a b. His job was to make sure everything in the house and outside the house ran smoothly so that nothing was dirty, everything was at the mans pleasure and to make sure the man was safe throughout the day. A couple days ago my dad explained what the man would do on an almost daily a basis and it was wild. My dad would wake up to an alarm that would trigger whenever someone would go into the gym at night (usually 4:30am) and he'd go see that it was his boss and turn the alarm off. While the man was in there my dad would take out a fancy chair and a fancy table out to the patio and setup an umbrella over them; guy lives on the furthest most island of the keys so it's extremely moist and the man doesn't want to sit on a wet chair after coming out of the shower. So the man would come out round 6 to watch the sunrise, call his mom, or see if there's anything interesting he wants to buy, like scrolling an Amazon webpage where everything is worth millions. While the guy is out there my dad takes a half hour drive to the nearest gas station to pick up a paper copy of the New York Times or Washington Post, whichever was newest and already there. When he'd get back the billionaire was usually back asleep. So my dad takes everything down, puts it away, and goes into the basement beneath the pool to set the temperature to 98 degrees Fahrenheit... In Florida, using gas water heaters. He'd come back up and have a chat with the waitress and the cook who'd be preparing the billionaire's breakfast and coffee. Once it was all ready and the man came down, he'd take the plate, cup of $100 coffee, and newspaper and sit in the 98 degree pool (with an umbrella over his head) and read the paper and breakfast. Once he was done, he'd come back in around 12 in the afternoon and just lounge around and do what he wanted. He's what he called himself "An Eternal Saturday Man" meaning every day was vacation day. He'd actually get excited whenever something would go so high up his corporate food chain that would make him need to work. And if he wanted to, he'd go. He's not a trust fund baby, he's not the head of some Wall Street company, no; his dad invented and patented the way to industrialize stainless steel in the 20's and let the world use it receiving royalties off it. Then, in the mid 60's this guy patented another way to do it cheaper and more efficient than any other existing method. He then took it a step further and started buying iron mines all over the world so that now he has his own supply of iron. He doesn't have to work a day in his life, his children don't have to work a day in theirs, and their children neither. Even his legal wife who wanted to divorce him wasn't able to because it was more beneficial to both of them if he just paid her a load of money every year and let her do her own thing.

My boss at a previous job was like this. It only became a problem for everyone else when once a month he would have everyone come in at like 4:00 a.m. which requires you to wake up at 3:00 or 3:30 in the morning depending on how far away you live and what your own morning routine looks like to get ready for work, to come in for a monthly company meeting. I was waking up and coming in at a normal healthy time otherwise. Why couldn't the company meeting happen later in the day? I don't know, just because. Also aside from being inconvenient and annoying it was also extremely dangerous for anyone with an unadjusted sleep schedule by forcing us to drive drowsy. I think I mentioned this once and his response was to just go to sleep earlier. that's not how circadian rhythm works, You can't just go to bed and wake up 5 hours earlier than you're used to doing and get any rest.

My mom used to work overnights overtime at Walmart as a GM, they had her and one other manager commuting 30-40 mins to get to work and working 8-10hr shifts plus meetings after. Apparently the other GM she worked with stopped showing up for a couple of days and everyone was confused as to why without an answer back. Turns out that he had gotten into a car wreck from falling asleep at the wheel and was in the hospital recovering. Worst part is that the overnight managers were seen as the most hard working and cooperative team in store, meaning that that was how they treated their "favorite employees."

I hate seeing these "morning routine" videos made by rich kids because I honestly get really envious of them! I live in a Third World country where traffic is sh*t. I'm lawyer, so I'm not a minimum wage worker, but almost everybody here has the same struggle, regardless of rank/position. My work starts at 8am, and my workplace is only 15km away from my house. But I have to wake up at 4am to get ready, and leave the house by 5am, just so I could arrive at work on time (around 730am). That's 2.5 hours wasted in heavy traffic. If I drive to work, I also spend on parking fees (they charge hourly), so it gets expensive. If I take the public transport, trains here are also sh*t so I can really only take the bus, and the bus also gets stuck in heavy traffic. My travel home takes 3 hours. I get off at 5 or 6pm, then I arrive home at 8 or 9pm. There's not much time to do anything else. And by the way, many other people have it WORSE than me. Honestly I'm one of the lucky ones! My co-workers travel for 4 hours to work and 3 hours back. Why don't we find a job closer to our homes? Salaries are generally higher in big cities, so everybody wants to work here even if that means traveling for hours daily. Why don't we just live closer to our workplace? Big cities where have high standard of living. We can't afford the rent here. Only the rich people can afford to live here.

15 kilometers in two and half hours is crazy. I can drive to neighboring town that is 15 km away in around 15 minutes. Two years ago I joined the 6 figure club, you just work hard for 10 years and hope to get a higher paid position. Morning routine varies from waking up at 8am when working from home or waking up at 4am to arrive at work at 8am 3 hours drive away, work til 4:30pm then check in to a crappy motel possibly get decent dinner or crappy bar meal depending on charge back available, stay there away from home for 2-3 nights then drive back and arrive home at like 9-10pm. Or midway through the day get told to drive upto 2 hours away to plug something back in 😂 not to mention the whole 6 figure club is complete BS because you lose most of it to tax 😂

I’m the opposite end of the spectrum where my commute is 5-10 mins. Unfortunately, there’s no secret sauce to making more money. My recommendation is to know as many people as possible as that’s where opportunities come from. People aren’t that unique in terms of ability. I’d wager I could train you to do what I do in business in no time at all regarding the what. However, the boss likes me a lot and our brand partners like me. That’s really all that makes me indispensable enough that I moved up so quickly here.
