I'm actually impressed by the cutscenes, they packed so much action and demonstrated genuine effort. He just needs to switch cameras about 10x less, lower the lens flare, and animate the eyes of everyone else instead of only the main character one out of five scenes. Also, the level that didn't work was actually a template level on Unreal Engine designed to show off particle effects. The entire level.

This camera work looks like something straight out of Stanley Kubrik's vision. They truly outdid themselves with the cinematography. The composition of some of these scenes will be studied for decades to come, not to mention the revolutionary gameplay and some of the most heart wrenching performances in the history of entertainment. Gaming has truly peaked. I can't wait for Hologram to crush Tears of the Kingdom, Wo Long, FFXVI and Starfield at the Game Awards 2023.

I was just thinking about how even if you play or watch something, "bad", if the person who made it truly loved making it, it shows through fun. This developer clearly loved makin this game and despite it being the definition of jank, it's so freakin charming how over the top, "playing with my star wars action figures as I go along with it" the game is.
