it’s not inherently hard to make obscure and weird games/art, but it’s incredibly difficult to make a genuinely good one. to have it so consistent with its theme and direction while maintaining the player’s attention and never failing to up the ante is incredibly impressive. i can tell this was a passion project for the devs.
