Yeah I noticed that too. But I think while it makes sense it was made by Lifetime given the dramas it tends to produce, I've often heard people talk about a negative connotation with Lifetime for things being lame love stories or poorly produced murder/stalker stories so when it makes something well produced it probably doesn't get credit for it and Netflix has a positive connotation for its shows so if it buys it and continues the show suddenly it's amazing. It also reaches a wider audience too. Something similar happened with Bodyguard. I believe it was produced by BBC originally but it became bigger when it was on Netflix and people could watch around the world.

It just occurred to me, I wonder if the female audience would be completely different if Joe was a vampire and drank the blood of anyone that he hurt/killed. Then the stalking and "protecting" would be romanticized. Its like watching Edward Cullen in Twilight as a human.. or the Salvatore brothers in Vampire Diaries as humans.. or Bill Compton & Eric Northman in True Blood. He is basically doing everything they did. Except instead of any using Vamp abilities... he is using social media.

He was so amazing as Joe! Despite him being a psychopathic serial killer, he gave his character so much depth, that I almost didn’t want him to get caught! It became sadistically hilarious the way he began to fear for safety 😂 I felt myself NEEDING him to be happy & was so upset when she decided to move the ceiling tiles! Ugh!
