Penn has been my favorite choice for Reed Richards for a very long time. He’s a fantastic actor, he’s a good starting age for Reed, and I think he could pull off a classic Reed Richards look if you’ve seen fan edits. Penn also has experience in playing a wide range of roles, so he’d be able to portray Reed’s complexity very well. Reed undoubtedly has a darker nature to him, and a lot of mental trauma/guilt over some of his actions over the years. Idk I just really do think Penn has leading man potential for a character like this, which Reed most certainly is. That’s even beyond a Tony Stark level role

Honestly, I wish Penn would grasp the impact of his roles much more. Personally, I think Joe is a brilliant role, because we do not just get to judge him as a murderer - we get to feel his true heart, we get to witness his unresolved trauma, we get to understand why he is the way he is and that shit is lacking in the justice system. I am not saying he should not be brought to justice in the show, but I am loving that we are remembering his humanity. It always upsets me when he hates on Joe. And Dan in Gossip Girl - I think it was one of the most important roles, because it gave the viewers someone to relate to and connect with. Most people who watched the show do not live the GG lifestyle with tons of money and crazy things. Bringing in Dan, as opposed to only Jenny, who was lusting after this lifestyle like there was no tomorrow (I loved this one psychologically as well), was a GREAT move. Yeah, that is all

it TRULY sûcks how people always freak out and yell and act so selfishly when they meet someone they admire. sometimes usually actually, they just recognize a famous face and take a selfie, as to show others online, how awesome THEY are, cause they met a famous person. cloud. it is rare i do believe - meeting someone who just shakes your hand and says they admire your work. i am really sad how alienating Penn is experiencing fame. Penn is one of very few actors /singers etc who speaks so openly about his distain for the industry and fame. Penn feels so grounded and nice. he really is just someone i would value highly if he was my friend. talking over coffee.. he is so smart and emotionally intelligent. 💕 😊 ifi ever met him i would just say hi, and tell him i love his podcast, love his work and think he is really cool person. No fuzz. actors are PEOPLE but because narcissism is such a big problem today, i don't see this issue of idols and worshipping them, going away.

Casting Penn Badgley as Reed Richards makes more sense given Johnathan Majors, who plays Kang in the MCU, given similar applications/approaches, including body language, baritone, cadence and personality traits imbued with characterization. They both can effectively play charismatic people regardless of their roles as protagonists or antagonists, with questionable shades of gray in between. Compound this with the fact that Kang, whose birth name is Nathaniel Richards ( named after Reed's father), is the descendant of both Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom ( soon to be introduced in the MCU, still uncast, but so help me, Daniel Craig would be perfect, as he conveys a similar dry humor that shows up in Majors version of Kang. Honestly if we can get Denzel and John David Washington playing Kang's grandfather and father respectively, so much the better ), it would just cement it for me. To round out the other 3 of The Fantastic Four: *Sue Storm, Jodie Comer certainly fits the bill physically, playing empathetic intelligence while convincingly pulling off an American accent. *Dacre Montgomery would be a great layered Johnny Storm, as he did in other roles such as Billy Hargrove in "Stranger Things". *Chameleonic as ever, Sacha Baron Cohen, makes for an amazing astronaut Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, a character whose age ranges between 30s-40s and with motion capture refined nowadays, would slip seamlessly as his accursed physical form.

Season 4 was just ok, this season i couldn't get passed the second episode. 1 & 2 were excellent! What's incredibly bizarre though is Penn coming out and saying he wont be doing sex scene anymore because "he doesn't want to cheat on his wife." So that means that all the other times he filmed sex scenes he was actually, not acting??? Did he not realize that saying that in most interviews labels him a CREEP. It's incredibly disturbing to think about it - that he got excited about those scenes not as Joe, as Daniel in Gossip Girl, but Penn. He lost a lot of followers after coming out and saying that, people were stunned.

Oh please, do you really think men never respond to the love scenes they do? One of my favorites who will go unnamed at this point was obviously turned on when he did a love scene on his hit show, and they were just kissing. Guys will be guys, their bodies often can't resist hormonally to any of that kind of contact. Oh, and btw, his marriage at the time ended in divorce. As for Penn's worrying about followers, he doesn't. He worries about being of service to humanity. He does a great job as an actor, and you have to admire him for his desire to avoid demonstrating what could be, at least a little, a sort of unfaithfulness to his wife. I've always wondered how actors do such scenes when they're married. It can't be easy on either the actor or the spouse, especially these days when explicitness and showing as much skin as possible seems to be the norm.

I would kill for him to be Reed Richards, I don't think there's a better choice out there. Just give me Penn and Samara Weaving and I can die peacefully.
