I know Penn thinks he isn’t “Presidential level smart”, but based on the Dunning-Kruger effect (the smarter you are, the more you realize you aren’t smart, the less you know the more confident you are that you’re right) that just means he IS that smart. I don't get it.
@Passenger954 жыл бұрын
I think Penn is apparently one of the few public American voices left who is able to delineate between "good person" and "good president." Meaning, if I were drunk at a bar, there are very few people I think it would be more fun to have drunk-yelling conspiracy theories next to me than Donald Trump. But I also don't necessarily want the fun and crazy drunk at the bar making policy decisions that affect every life in the country. We have to be able to start making that distinction in America, or there will come an election in 4,8, maybe even 12 years time from which we will never recover.
@3TNT33 жыл бұрын
@@Passenger95 Well, the only thing that makes sense to me is if when he said, 'No matter howwwww bad you think he is, he's worse,' that he meant strictly in regards to his ability to operate in the position of President of the United States, and all of what that entails in order to do so competently, effectively, and with a level head and temperament. But then I would still be wondering how in the world he could possibly think that Donald Dump is a decent guy. Because I think it's quite clear that he is some form of monster. And I think you underestimate just howwwwwwww bad Donald Dump is if you don't think that he, himself, would be someone that if he had been re-elected, that that would be the election that we would never recover from. He has already caused an unbelievable amount of damage to this country that will probably take at least 50 years, or more, to recover from. And if he had been reelected, or does get reelected in the future, that, I can assure you, willlllllll be an election of which we will most definitely never recover from.
