Wow I just had to look up this hotel and when I saw the prices per night, two basic nights in there would pay my yearly electric bill and keep me toasty over winter instead of freezing my bits off. And I expect that MP’s stay over in there and put it down to expenses, no wonder the country is in a mess.

@zcharged8294 No, maybe I should have phrased it better. I worked 72 hours last week, and I'll never be rich 🤣. @@DMWBN3 You have changed my words for yours, I was recently in an art gallery and there were wonderfull works of art worth very large amounts of money and that's fine, what disgusts me are people that used to work for the Taxpayers ( you know the ones i mean , like the ones who build the fine houses that you care about and the fine pictures I care about, the ones who used to dig coal, the ones that sweep the streets the one that do the dirty drains and drive the trains and lorries and buses etc,to sum up the ones that create the wealth that gets taxed) and end up being able to afford to pay more for a one night stay ( probably off the money they somehow created by working for the dreaded taxpayers) than is taken off two pensioners for their heating , now there is nothing wrong with someone doing well for themselves and having the best that life has to offer but there is something very wrong when goverment are stealing heating money off pensioners who allso tried to do well for themselves by their hard sweat and toil and not by stealing or taxing someone else, that is what I find disgusting and if you don't I understand why.

Establishments like this fill me with disgust. Those menu prices are mind boggling and show blatantly the huge divide that exists in this country. We are spending the price of one of those cheaper main meals on our full weekly shop. If I had that sort of money to spend freely I could never dream on spending it in a place like that, its simply shocking to think that people are starving all around the world, with homeless people everywhere including here in the UK and people are sleeping in rooms costing thousands of pounds per night in pure luxury.....Sick is`nt it.

Jean-Baptiste was excellent. Showing he knows how to delight those he serves in his dining room. He is likely a great role model for his team. John Andrews, the head concierge was not quite as good with his poor attitude. This also shows in how his doormen interacted with LA. I am sure Jeremy Goring will see how these two sides of his team are not quite working to the same values or principles of 5 ✰ service and take the appropriate action.
