It's been a while since I watched scrubs (one of my fav shows of all time btw) and I don't really remember any precious moments between them that weren't purely comedic. I wished they explored their dynamic in serious situations as well. On the other hand Sheldon and penny had a mix of everything, we've seen them at their best and worst. We've seen them love each other, hate each other, laugh WITH each other, laugh AT each other, being supportive, being vulnerable. Turk and JD on the other hand were barely explored beyond the "bromance" dynamic

I just finished this episode yesterday, and this was my favorite part of the episode. I love their friendship! Like, many others, I don't think romantic ing them would be the best choice. The way their friendship is, it should stay that way. I think they had the best chemistry on the show and character growth. Then, Howard. Somebody also mentioned how there was no chemistry between Lenny and Penny and Sheldon and Amy. I can't entirely agree with Sheldon/Amy; I think they were a perfect match. But I agree about Lenny/Penny. Their relationship was odd; idk. It sounded weird when they would say, husband and wife.

That episode was obviously filmed in order to make the Shenny's shipping die but tbh it made me love them even more. I get why the writers did it though, they want the canon couples to be Leonard/Penny and Sheldon/Amy but even though i also love these two couples the problem is that the chemistry between Sheldon and Penny is too strong so it's very easy to see them as a more suitable couple. That episode was kinda like a slap in the face of their shippers, especially the "sister/brother" part. The writers really weren't subtle on that one lol That being said, at this point of the show i can't imagine them ending up together without being complete assholes. The writers did manage to make us love Amy and Leonard so no one would enjoy seeing them being hurt. Shenny will only be possible in an alternate reality ^^
