Some love for Steve... he was the original Russell Westbrook, except he actually had range. He had a season where he literally led the Rockets in every statistical category, and earned the nickname "Stevie Franchise". I think he'd be a monster in today's NBA, which is a guard oriented league.

@@apalmighty7186 yeah, but what good did it do? I mean, you got old and probably wore your body out. I used to play a lot and I kind of regret it. Knees will never be the same and ankle pain. When I look back on it, it was all completely pointless. It didn't do me one bit of good in life. These days, I always think about the future before I do certain stuff. I'm always thinking about the long-term instead of the moment. This is where wisdom comes in and we get it as we grow older. At least, some of us do. There's some people out here who don't have an ounce of wisdom and they are 70 years old. I can't imagine being 70 years old and having nothing to show for it. You live your whole life chasing that moment of fun and it leaves you with nothing. Yeah, it's all just kind of meaningless when you look back on it. Even the people in the NBA who just completely blow every amount of money they have. It's like, it did them no good to have it. If you can't make millions and actually have a life as you get older, you have completely wasted your life. Some of these people end up filing bankruptcy! That's absolutely insane! Sometimes I wonder if they even have a brain. I think there's one up there, it's just on standby. These people need to take some wisdom classes. Unfortunately, when we are young we think we know everything. How long we are at that age. It's all just a waste in the end if it hasn't made you any money. Our bodies go through heck when we play sports. As I've gotten older, I've just gained a lot of insight on how things actually work. I found there is only one thing any human being can do in this life and have it not be a waste of time. It's called "Living for God"! This is what I do, these days. It's so nice to wake up and not even think about time because you know you will live forever. The peace that flood your soul is just absolutely amazing! I walked through life without an ounce of fear or worry, at all! I learned to live in fellowship with Him. It's quite amazing! I wish I could go back and show my young self the meaning of life. I probably wouldn't have done it at that young age because I thought I knew everything. I'm just glad the good Lord showed me. We all get older and we all die. It's so nice to not even worry or think about that type of stuff because you know you will go on to live with God on the new Earth. Every bit of this Earth and the heavens, are passing away. This Earth will not be destroyed by mankind. God will not allow that to happen. If he stayed out of it, mankind would destroy themselves. That just goes to show us how desperately we need Him. Yep, son, this is the true meaning of life. Nothing you find to do in this world will ever satisfy your soul. This is why so many suffer from depression and anxiety. They are living for the wrong reason. Only when you follow the King are you living the way you were created to live. None of that other stuff matters. It all comes and it goes. Everything you can see with your eye will come and go, but the Word of the Lord remains forever. You cannot take anything with you when you leave this life. Naked you come and naked you go. Life has zero meaning if you are not living for the Creator. I found this out when I was 28 years old. Since that day, my life has never been the same. Everything inside of me has changed and I am a new man. I can tell you truthfully, I'm not the same person I used to be. It's called being born again and it's the only way you can make it into the kingdom. Millions have religion, but most of them don't have the King. They are following a set of rules but they haven't had a heart change. God gets on the inside and changes the heart so that you don't even desire the things you used to. The problem with mankind is sin and God gives you a brand new nature that doesn't want to sin. This is the board again experience! It's an absolutely amazing life and nothing out here comes close in comparison. I found a God that was nothing like I thought and nothing like the people who claim to know Him, said. He's completely different than you hear from people. Anybody who really knows Him, can tell you that. Anyways, I didn't mean to Rattle on, but there's nothing else in this world that satisfies. It's here one day and gone the next, just like people. There is honestly only one thing that even matters in life. When you live for this one thing you will have a satisfying life and you won't even worry about other things. I don't live to succeed, anymore. I live for him and he makes me into whatever he wants me to be. One thing I can say, I'm happy! I never found true happiness anywhere else. I have true joy that comes from the inner being. I used to be hooked on a million things and now I'm only hooked on Jesus. He paid the price so that I might know the Father. It's wonderful! I could go on and on but I will end this. Most people don't understand how I could talk about it forever because they have not experienced it. Once you experience it, you can't shut up about it. It's so amazing!

People try an say these new guys are better than AI & don't realize AI's style of play was like a big mans. Iverson played dominant. He had bank shots, floaters, hook shots & fade aways.. The only thing his game didn't consist of is a post up. Even do I'm a curry fan, curry plays like any typical pg; he just has a super human jumper, which makes him unstoppable. Curry plays like Nash just 10'xs more lethal..

I never understood how it felt to have someone back up your miss. I always did it to other (never dunked it but would be if I could have dunked). But I always go after the rebound whether a person makes or misses. And at times it's easier to tip the ball back in instead of jumping for the rebound.
