hi Mikko the interesting matter is for me that when we pkay C# melodic mibor the 5 tones that remain are D FGAB....i like the shadow.OR EPHASIVE SCALES....

mikko did you ever listen to Still Warm from Jijn Scofield? For me he is prooving thete his out site stiff maybe because in each tune he uses those licks over and over again....this is for me his best album I sought out long ago Techno and rule of the thumb and used protocol as inspiration for compositions

hi Mikko I tried out this my penta on the IInd degree of A M7 chord I uused this patern fga f A g D F B D my experience os that on the more flat the chords are better ot seems to sound....Gb minor sounded the best

chick Coeea.uses this scale maj b6 a lot Itnis great a outside or altered Lick I did study last teo years paterns with this one and also skipping one note what O learned from your Jerry Bergonzi lesson

What I remeber from seeking out & srealing frpm scpfield majb6 starts to be interesting also when from 3 to 5 also play chromatic to blow some life in it and the same to use a b7 as a goes.note to the maj7 then played on the root.but especially the b6 of a Dpminant alt or Super Locrian and plaued somehoe as.a.blues.acale or with that intention alters the matter.into thw right direction I learne this from gos solo.Rule of the Thumb I think combined with a lesson from Jens Larsen whonstudied with Eef Albers although that is hardly sensible...bit sit made me realise this trick....
