This is probably my favorite song. John Lennon penned a master piece when he wrote this, and this is probably my favorite version other than the original. Chris Cornell cover was my second favorite version, however PTX just got me smiling when I heard their version the first time. Unfortunately we're still Imagining John, but we're working on it.

This Song is so pertinent to today's situation especially in America. The video is the real jewel here with the cards and the connection to each other. I personally am not a fan of the song but PTX knock it out of the park

Mitch and Avi amaze me every time! Their vocal ability and quality is outstanding, God given or not, just by happenstance they were born to have that quality. Their talent is just to hard to even describe in words. My ears are always happy when I hear them.

I think Avi looks short because he is standing between Scoot and Kevin who are both well over 6 feet tall and Kirstie and Mitch are wearing giant platform shoes.

That's a big part of it. There's also the slight bit of distortion due to the lens on the camera. It's a wide angle lens to get them all in the field of view. One of the characteristics of wide angle lenses is that objects closer to the lens are emphasized and objects further away appear to diminish in size. They're standing in a slight arc with Mitch and Kirstin slightly closer to the camera on the ends and Avi slightly behind Scott and Kevin in the middle. The combination of S&K's height and the effect of the lens is why Avi looks shorter than he actually is.

It was a powerful song when John Lennon did it, PTX has brought it to a higher level, IMO. Headphones are always needed for music especially a cappella, but this is just ear orgasms for me.

Imagine ist one of the "simplest" and most powerful cover videos. No crazy stuff is going on, only them, a dark background and signs. Perfect to get the message across. I've no idea how many times I watched it but it still touches my hearth. There is so much violance, envy, greed, hate, egoism and so on in the world. I love reading the comments here as I learn so much more about the song, the vocalists etc. I recognized the meaning of the cards but the comment about how the cards passed over something shared just made it that more meaningful. Yes I had tears and it was such a relief to see you experience that too Jase. It takes a real man to cry and express emotions.
