Been with you a long time and when you cover Home Free you get it. They have a way of honoring the lyrics to the point that, whether it is a cover or an original, it takes on their emotion and personal touch. You always feel the story. The story can be comic like 'Hillbilly Bone', romantic like 'God Bless the Broken Road', or sole stirring like 'Brothers in Arms', they are masters at making the story an event to be savored and felt to the core. You are right, they always "do the damn thing".
