Since this video was made certain things have changed in the field discussed as it should. Stents have changed, they are now medicated which lowers the issues of whatever the bare metal did in your body, although it hasnt totally reduced it. I have a history of various blood and heart related issues. I got my first heart attack at 30 years of age, 5 more in the following years. I have had 4 pulmonary embolisms, the first one in NY and after spending a week at Mt. Kisco hospital they never did figure out what was wrong, so I suggest bypassing that place. Eventually I was put on Coumadin, have been for 30+ years. I still got 3 more pulmonary embolisms even while on Coumadin. Eventually had heart bypass surgery, 5 by-passes and they all occluded within 2 months. Over the years I have had 14 stents placed, both unmedicated and medicated. Again, 13 years later had another bypass, 3 this time, all occluded again within 2 months. The surgeon also didnt really have enough blood vessel options as I seem to have a vein/artery issue. For a number of years I took aspirin, Coumadin for the DVTs and Plavix. Eventually the aspirin and Plavix has been dropped. Part of the issue is I also have Leiden Factor 5. I had a fabulous cardiologist for 20 years but unfortunately he retired and the 2 people I have met with since are just picking up their paychecks.

I am on Plavix and take aspirin 325 mg been taking them for 11 years when I go to doctors they don't understand why I have seen many of different Dr they tell me why aspirin for 11 years why do you take both I tell them I don't know 2006 I had several Strokes the doctor in the ER put me on Plavix and aspirin I have been taking them every since can someone please help I don't understand

I was diagnosed with dvt and had to put a stent . I’m 32 yrs old and I was told that I had to be on Plavix and aspirin. It is a scary thought knowing that there is a big contravercy about Plavix vz cumadin becauce If anything I can bleed out ..

I just started taking blood thinner today due to the upcoming brain neurysm procedure next Monday, October 9th . The first time in my life procedure will be done, and I'm 73 years old . I've given aspirin 81mg and clopidogrel 75mg plus blood pressure medication 😮 may God help 🙏 😢

Just talk about the clinical trials. What good is this nonsense without evidence of reducing deaths or increasing quality of life,? It has all kinds of negative effects. I wouldn't touch it.

Clots happen in veins and cardiovascular disease is in the arteries. Every drug just increases your risk other than maybe aspirin but a Ketogenic diet high in saturated fats and very low in carbohydrates will clear arteries and veins.

Hi everyone, I had a stroke and an internal carotid artery stenosis and the neurosurgeon did put me on aspirin and plavix and was planning to put a stent in my carotid artery but I didn't and went to a vascular surgeon who continued putting me on aspirin and plavix. I took a personal decision to stop one of them so I stopped aspirin, and had blood test (after a month of stopping aspirin) and my blood was thinner than what it was when I had aspirin plus plavix. I quit smoking, having sea buckthorn oil capsules daily and 2- 4 beverages of green tea, cinnamon, ginger, or curcumin, and I ear 10 garlic cloves a day and 4-6 tablespoons of olive oil daily. Any ideas on how to stop taking plavix

what is the alternative to plavix & other anti blood clotting drugs i was on aspirin for 20 years along with cholesterol medication they totally ruined my health had to take them because of quad bypass in 1998, 3 years ago 2 stents in heart , doctors put on a cocktail of drugs namely BRILINTA to stop clotting, Bisoprolol for heart beat control & blood pressure DURIDE for blood pressure , baby aspirin blood thinner which Caused 12 trips to emergency with chest pain & high blood pressure so 18 monthe ago dropped DURIDE 3 months ago dropped bisoprolol 2 weeks ago dropped Aspirin & i never felt as good as i feel now also 2 years ago had 3 stent operations in left leg but it keep getting blockages so vascular has given up but wants me to stay on brilinta which causes heart issues when taken with bisoprolol , some people ended up with pacemakers because of brilinta & bisoprolol taken together looked up WORLD JOURNAL OF CLINICAL CASES which said PLAVIX doesnt cause heart issues wanted to go on plavix but vascular doctor stopped me but i'm going to go against his advise & change over i did change my diet i'm now more or less a vegetarian no coffee no sugar take half an Avocado a day on toast morning & walnut butter which i make myself drink lots of water even though i have enlarged prostrate but since looking after my own health i'm a lot better off , staying away from doctors is the trick
