I hope to one day get my son back... Zulu Mlotshwa. I tried everything I could within the law to gain access to him & failed. All I hope for now, is for him to grow up & come to me... knowing that he may hate me, based on what he's been mis-taught about me. We stay fighting. The world hates good men.

How did you lose him? If you were there nothing anyone tells him would show him otherwise because you would be there to show him for real. That's why I ask how did you lose him? Have you become a good man now? If you have always been then how did you lose him?

On the topic of ordinary stories and relationships… including that of ur son. I’d love for u to go watch a movie called Fences by Denzel Washington - I believe it’s a beautiful story about manhood and fatherhood that isn’t told very often. Idk about u but that movie brought me to tears

Thank you Penson for re- empathizing on how important it is to keep your family issues under wraps. It’s not for public consumption. Thank you from 🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦

Penuel, its already established at this point that you're a smart and knowledgeable guy but maybe try to just listen when your guest is speaking instead of constantly interrupting. Watching from that point when Penson was listing/describing the dynamics in popular sitcoms so that he can build on his point, you kept interrupting as if to show that you know as much or more about what he's saying. Relax a little next but overall, great podcast.

Hello Pen, First of all thanks for bringing up the conversations that matter,you doing good in all ways in my opinion, we could also improve on giving our guests room to construct their conversation, their statement, the point they are trying to make before an interruption, its not necessarily happening often, but jusy enough to kinda f up the conversations in some way, i noticed it too on Vusi, a number of times he would say "sorry" , professional for "let me finish", i think there could be an improvement there ...Thank you again

Yho, don’t fight me. I’m just adding my input into this conversation. You don’t have to agree with it. A pure woman should be with a pure man. Explain why a woman should keep herself pure only to settle down with a man that’s been around several times. People should date each other based on their level of purity.

Or you are scared he might outshine you with wisdom....you might be factually intelligent but he is definitely wiser....so listen to him more you might learn a lot.

Life is Tough... And a picture can only capture but a moment or an instant... It cant tell a story... Most peoples instagrams are lies well maybe not even lies but creations of moments to paint a picture of how they want others to see their lives because the truth is ugly.. Its filled with sad days, loneliness, anxiety, fights, stress and struggle... I have seen the extent that some bullshit themselves to and its sad.. Reality is no one really expects anything from you, no one really cares about you so rather live in your truth... You may not get as many likes but you wont feel the need to hide and maybe others can learn the actual cost of your life... Stop making everything seem sexy, it isnt.. Most shit is just hard...

I support Pensyls view that dating multiple people shift the heart from its original place which is the centre of the chest. The mere fact that so much being invested in each other to everytime find yourself on a kickstart is senseless. Investments meaning emotional, financial etc. Your identity is not locked up in someone who would hopefully come by someday. Multiple relationships does not increase in value😂😂

I had to stop watching when I realised I needed to know all types of series and movies to get the conversation. Can people not make their point without referencing something else. Maybe I'm wired because I never was into TV like that and the ones I did watch I have forgotten everything about it.
@boipelomosoetsa9450
@boipelomosoetsa9450 8 ай бұрын
But referencing popular media, whether its books or series or movies, has always been a great way of building onto a point you're trying to make. Great conversationalists do that all the time because it also puts a better and clearer context or description to what is being discussed. Look at all the best talk show hosts like Seth Meyers or Trevor Noah. They do it all the time and for good reasons. The more you know (in general), the more references you're able to pull to add onto a conversation, especially when describing certain situations or circumstances.
@ThePhilosophicalZombie
@ThePhilosophicalZombie 8 ай бұрын
For the longest of times it use to bother me that I wasn't familiar with a lot of the things being referenced from back in the days. I've learnt that it is not a bad thing to go back and learn or research on the "point of reference"

I agree that things need to be kept within the family... however, I think grace needs to be extended for when someone was wronged, like cheated on. Being cheated on is a traumatic experience. In a situation like that, the person is not sane. The person would quite literally act in a way they would have never acted had that not happened. Enhle acted in a way she's never acted before, and I knew she would recollect herself. She had devoted her whole life to him, and at that point, the pain, grief, and loss was immense. At times, that public outcry is a trauma response... it's what you think you need to do to survive that ordeal. At that point, you are literally trying to survive the trauma, and saving face is the last thing on your mind. So we can't expect sanity from someone who is literally going crazy... eventually, they will gather themselves, but at that point they are trying to survive.

Being a present father has nothing to do with are you married to this woman. I have an uncle who, like Penuel, has multiple kids with multiple women. In fact, none of his kids share a mother except the 2 sets of twins who each have their own mother. So they only share a mother because they are twins. My uncle is not a rich man, a teacher in fact. Lived elokshini with his mom all his life. But he was a present father. He had great relationships with all his children, his children knew and cared for each other and they have close relationships with his extended family. Being present as a father is not necessarily about being deputy mom or marrying the first and every other woman you get pregnant, it's about being responsible for and loving the life you brought into the world period. Even if you got no money, be there. Do your best. But we live in RSA where lack of personal responsibility is the trend so ... ya.

Buthi oMcinci kaPenual is mixing alot of things. Being of service to your child is not the role of a mom. Reading a book to a child is an act anyone can do. We are no longer playing these roles you've defined. You're comparing showing a child to ride a bike (4lessons at most) to reading to a child to put them to sleep, something which has to be done daily. Men cry because they didn't connect with their fathers and you say nurturing belong to a woman and men must show tough love? We might be redefining what our roles now are as a society but what you're breaking down is not it. Men can nurture. Yes the role of a man should not be erased but tasks/services provided to raise a child do not have to be gendered nor is showing kindness so uthini Buthi? The one who can must do what needs to be done. The one who can't must learn what needs to be done. End of the day, what must be done, must be done and yes in a nurturing way. Nurturing is not without tough love. Ask God.

These two things came to mind listening to you gents discuss The Smiths🤣: - Psychologist on The Real Talk Show on SABC 3 said "in general relationships have a duration of 20-25 years." Now let's think about that statement. The behaviour of partners are bound to get better or worse. - Will and Jayda are self-employed so "do what you gotta do for income". Business mindset: If the world loves a subject you provide then releasing a book wouldn't be a bad decision.
