The Monteverde Horizon Blue is very nice, has some hints of a red sheen. I would have been most curious to see the critic of Noodler`s Bay State Blue.

I´m so glad that you´re highlighting one of the most underrated true blue inks: Lamy Blue. I have been using this ink as my daily workhorse ink for years and it never dissapoints. I would add another gorgeous blue to your list and one that you absolutely have to try out: Leonardo Blue Mediterraneo ( I just call it Leonardo Blue). Quickly becoming one of my favorite blues. Another sleeper: Sailor basic blue. But there's nothing basic about this ink. It flows perfectly, has shading and some sheen to it as well.

I always enjoy your ink comparison videos. I'm glad you are comparing blue inks. There are many beautiful blue inks. I think people don't realize how many blue inks can be really interesting. I fault the pen companies for that because they include that generic blue ink in cartridges. Anyway, keep doing ink comparisons. I find them interesting and useful.

Pelikan Topaz is one of my all time favorites too Dave!! Along with Iroshizuku tskui- yo, Noodler's 54th Massachusetts, and Diamine Prussian Blue. The new Diamine Caledon Cat can kind of make that too but it's kind of greenish gray as well haha, but love it nonetheless.

I also love the Pelikan Edelstein Topaz! Looks like I'm going to have to get out the Lamy Blue again.

I'm always amazed how many inks you go through several bottles of, and here I can't even finish one! Do you do a lot of journaling or how do you use your pens and inks so much? I'm trying to find ways to use mine more.

It is a lovely blue but I am sad I cannot find Akkerman in Canada.
