Real story. I was thinking about deleting my facebook like 5 years ago and was scrolling through. One woman I knew who was about 25 years old shared a post about women with a condition called "Violet Eyes". It claimed these women are all born with purple eyes and never have periods but were still able to get pregnant. It claimed people with this violet eyes condition didn't show signs of aging until after they were 70 years old and other bat shit crazy impossible things and they had a unique blood type that had super health properties and being immune to all forms of cancer. She had like 12 likes and her mom and friends were posting about how amazing this was and according her, 1 of her old friends was like this and had purple eyes and never had a period in her life! I was so baffled these people I knew literally believed it, anywhere from age 16 to 60, multiple people completely believing this obvious crap. It has seriously impacted me because these people are very well off and successful - I mean, multiple 600k+ homes - and I realize just how dumb people can be yet still have such a successful career. I deleted my facebook because I couldn't handle the profound stupidity after that.

As a hunter there are still a few concerning sounds. For instance, in the part of the midwest I hunt, there aren't supposed to be cougars. The blood curdling scream one night, bowhunting, while climbing down the deer stand means I never go out without a handgun anymore. the whole "government put it there after the fact" argument is easily discredited once you realize google earth doesn't update their map data fast enough for there to have been a discrepancy between google earth and what was actually on the mountaintop. The average piece of map data is 1-3 years old because they only have enough satellites (55) to update parts of the map once a month. So, unless they can prove that this specific piece of the map was updated at just the right time, they have no case. Not only this, but a giant, visible from that distance living on earth nowadays, especially on a mountain where the air is thinner than where humans typically live is absurd. Land animals can only be as large as the oxygenation percentage of the atmosphere allows, which is why dinosaurs lived 245-65 million years ago when there was a substantially larger number of trees around. A giant wouldn't be able to respirate nearly enough to stay alive, never mind on a mountain, in today's climate (~20% today vs. ~30% During the Cretaceous Period.) Sorry for the rant, just thought I should say this.

Strategy The Giant costs only 5 Elixir, which is very cheap considering its health pool. This makes it more effective in decks that rely on the counterpush to gain damage, as the Giant will be able to be deployed more quickly as a tank for these pushes. The Giant is very effective when used as a shield for other troops due to his great Elixir to health ratio. He can soak up the damage of enemy troops while other supporting units or the Crown Tower(s) behind the Giant deal damage to them. Dealing with an opposing Giant that is paired with a support troop can be difficult. The player must wait for the troop(s) to cross the river, then counter them with an appropriate counter. They must not forget to deal with the Giant right after, or distract him with a building to give their Crown Towers more time to take him out. On the contrary, a Giant without supporting units is very easy to take out due to him not targeting troops. This is unlike other building targeting units such as the Goblin Giant and the Electro Giant. A Giant should almost never be ignored as he can single-handedly take down a Princess Tower from full health for only 5 Elixir. Since the Giant moves slowly and cannot damage troops, swarms that can deal high damage per second take him out quickly. However, be sure to bait out the opponent's spells first. An effective way to counter the Giant is by using high damage troops like the Mini P.E.K.K.A or the Prince, or by using swarms of troops that output high damage per second, like the Skeleton Army, Minion Horde, Goblin Gang or sometimes Bats. If the support troop behind the Giant has low enough hitpoints, the player can use a spell to eliminate them, and then deploy any of the aforementioned cards. While the Mini P.E.K.K.A is quite effective at stopping a lone Giant, due to its high DPS, it only has an average amount of health. Because of this, the player should consider using another troop to tank the damage from support units, so that the Mini P.E.K.K.A can finish off the Giant. A P.E.K.K.A, however, is a quick and easy answer to the Giant. While this may seem like a negative Elixir trade, the Giant rarely comes alone, and most support troops can be easily defeated by her too. In addition, if the Giant does not have supporting units, the P.E.K.K.A will remain at full HP due to the Giant not fighting back, and can be used for a highly threatening counterpush. The Witch is a reliable counter to the Giant. While her damage is low, she continuously spawns Skeletons that can quickly accumulate and can hit everything behind the Giant with her splash. They can then be used in a counterpush, especially if paired with other troops such as another Giant or a Golem.
