CXonor24 Typically when someone suddenly changes their diet your body loses a few pounds immediately because it's trying to adjust to the new balance of nutrients. After the first one or two weeks though your body is less likely to drastically change in weight. Maybe a few pounds here and there but otherwise it'll be a very gradual if it's only a diet change. Of course it's not the same for everyone but it's what I've observed and learned.

Perhaps she was eating far too little protein in her diet and gained some muscle mass. Perhaps she just didn't eat enough in general. I find interesting that all 3 seemed healthier to me after the test for some reason. It might just be psychological.

Depends how active you are, and also how big you are (weight and height). I was told to have 1500 to maintain weight, and 1200 to lose weight. I am not very active currently and I am 5'2 (157cm). I would also gain weight if I had 2000 calories each day.

There's also the possibility that prior to taking Soylent, she wasn't consistently eating enough calories so when she began to while taking Soylent, she naturally gained a small amount. It could just be water weight though depending on how active she was and how much water she was drinking.

Dayummm Shane's angle at 3:07 (day seven) is pretty good~ I think that's my favorite angle of him so far. And look at how happy and adorable Ryan and Jen are to finally eat other food. Awwww they look blessed.

Only 2 meals a day? Is that an American thing that I don't know about or something? I usually eat like 5 light/medium meals. Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack (when I get home from school), and ofcourse dinner. I really like to eat more lighter meals than less heavier meals. People have also told me that this is the best for my body :). But it might just be a European thing! By the way, those snacks are healthy. Things like fruit, almonds and vegetables etc.

We Americans tend to eat heavy meals. So yes I'd say its normal. Nobody takes the time to prep a meal. It's easier and faster to eat at a drive through. No its not the right thing to do, but most generally don't care.
