Maybe great personality resto owners? History of how and why(what is their inspiration) they build their shop? Story behind? Of course they need profit to continue their business just like you. And please have english subtitles for those who can't speak or understand Japanese? It will have more likes and subscribes. More power to your channel!❤

When I was a kid my mother used to buy hamburger steak at the Tokyo train station. This video brings back some fond memories. Thank you.

I love how they're served without buns. So yummy with all the gooey cheese & onions...you don't need anything those carbs...except a touch of rice. Perfection.

They’re a must try! Although you could probably make at home since the recipe is very easy :D As someone who isn’t too skilled at making steaks, this dish is super nice since it’s naturally tender

Salsbury steak was an American diet fad early on. I remember it fondly as a child and you'll see it in cafeterias and diners mostly these days. Besides the sizzling platter and presentation all the ingredients mixed veg, green beans and baked potato are very "American" I would like to see it served this way in the states

The best hamburger steak I ever had was in Hakata Fukuoka at this teeny diner run by an elderly couple, it was only bar seating, no tables, I went with my husband, and I could tell right away it was popular with the dating crowd, a lot of other couples there too, lol
Heh, one of my favorite local restaurants!! I love their unique smokey sauce that's really different from the usual demi glace sauce variants.

As a Greek that lived abroad for half my life but returned to Greece, I admire what a journey Eirini had. Her name in Greek means PEACE. I am curius how she chose Japan and especially this town for her home and place to open a business? She moved there from USA I pressume? From which place in Greece did her grandma move to USA? Does she speak Greek and does she visit the land of her ancestors? Finally, the large meatball or hamburger steak in greek is called KEFTEDAKI or KEFTEDAKIA in plural
@nancy-loupolk93012 жыл бұрын
I agree. I wanted to know more about how she came to open a store in Japan with Greek food inspiration. The elevator doors were interesting. Kind of like going into a speakeasy.
I ate there in 1991 and I'm still thinking about it lol, Cool place, great food.

It all looks so good. I wish it was located in Southern California!
Looks like something an American housewife in the ‘50s would serve. All it’s missing is the glass of milk. It also looks like an old Swanson dinner (though with larger portions and without the desert).
