If you and your partners "differences" are big enough that you disagree so much morally and ethically that you could not raise a child together and you can't have one conversation about them without your relationship falling apart, then those differences are too big for you to be compatible. I hate this idea that you're supposed to compromise on everything, it's not narrow minded to want your life partner to be on the same page as you. You're also not super mature because you can get along with someone with a different worldview, you're just ignoring your problems

I love that Noel said “moves in too fast” about being a red flag when 90% of my lesbian friends did the uhaul lesbian move and are all in super stable happy relationships. It’s honestly baffling that it has worked out consistently for them

Ngl the first scenario reminds me so much of Everything Everywhere All At Once. I just hope (if it isn't fake, ofc) that she realizes that her husband is Waymond and they don't get fucked up as a pairing over it.

life hack for lesbian/bi women who can’t figure out how many red flags is too many: if any of the red flags are money related then RUN! i cannot stress what a bad idea it is to date a girl that can’t/won’t be financially responsible
@Julia-tk2em
@Julia-tk2em Жыл бұрын
If I can offer the perspective of someone who is bad with money. 🫢 I have AuDHD, so I tend to be distracted and forgetful, and struggle with impulsiveness. You can see how this will be bad news when it comes to handling money. Especially as an adult who has to manage finances on their own. I’ll end up spending $60 on The Sims 4 expansion packs, and barely be able to pay the rent because in the moment I had the money for the fun thing, without remembering I needed money for the real world. This is a common issue with other Autists and ADHD havers. Help us, don’t abandon us.

That car crash crush sounds like Misinterpreted Feelings of Arousal, where you get scared but then you're somehow infatuated with someone almost immediately after. Not always fear tho, it can be other things too, like wanting to be like someone and you think that means you want to be with them.
