On the question of fighting the old lady at work, I have a rude coworker who's rude to everyone and always broke the rules and logged me onto register with ny numbers even tho only managers can and so one time, all I said was, "You know I can log myself in," in what I felt a not SO rude tone or anything, and she yelled in my face for a minute about it, then she ignored me for like 2 weeks and then I started being nicer and just a little more talkative than before and now she's nice and finally stopped (after doing it for years before I started and is still rude to customers and gets complaints often)
