Unpopular opinion but pretty privilege has nothing to do with it. Attractive and unattractive women get the exact same treatment if the man is not quality. This is not a pretty privilege conversation, it’s a relationship expectation conversation

I think the pretty privilege angle comes in from the fact that she thought that she was better than the previous girl. She thought that she would have privileges the other woman did not have, like “i’m that girl, he wouldn’t leave me an unmarried baby mama like he did her”

That's why I think the saying," He will leave you for the woman he really wants." is truly not a flex. Some women believe if a man left his first family/ woman to be with her that's because he see her as the one, you know she thinking she is the woman he really wants. But being that woman does not equal better treatment or all of a sudden he's the best man he has ever been.

Miracle played herself. Let me explain: I am not sure why she thought a man with two children under 10 would be a prize in the first place is laughable. He never married the women he created two children with and the timeline of your relationship is questionable. Not only is his character questionable, Miracle’s is too which is why she is in this situation.

Pretty privilege is a curse in relationships, if anything. I'm not ashamed the say that my mother is prettier than I'll ever be, and she got together with a man who was a firefighter. He was prince charming. After their third child, me, he turned into an absolute monster and sucked every ounce of energy my mother had. She managed to escape, but it still took her years to fully recover. The same goes for a lot of beautiful women I've seen. Men will pretend to be prince charming for beautiful women and then switch when they think she can't escape. Being beautiful just attracts more entitled, insane people.

If their behaviour is poor from the start marriage won’t change that. Some women got the ring and the wedding and they are now single mothers. Marriage will not change the poor behaviour, it doesn’t assure commitment , good intention or loyalty. .

Ladies...sigh...I am 54 and I just want to say something. When my mother's generation started to gain rights in the 70's and the first wave of feminism hit, the men panicked. They turned up the heat. They bombarded my generation with love songs (80's and 90's love songs) rom coms (when Harry met Sally, You've got mail, Love and Basketball, etc...) then there were the Disney princesses along with all the baby dolls and kitchen toys, then when you became a teenager and turned 14 you started a hope chest (barf). What my generation should have done, was pick up the baton and do what this generation is doing now and for that, I apologize. But I'm going to be honest...I fear so much for the younger generation because I never EVER realized that a woman's freedom and happiness was such a threat to a man. Ladies, PLEASE get yourself some type of arsenal, because it's going to get worse if it ever gets better. I have NEVER seen so much disrespect and 8atred towards women, like I have in this day and age. Maybe it was always there, and it was hidden but whatever the reason, marriage is not the goal, it never was. It was manipulation into servitude. I am sure there are some awesome marriages out there and to the women that have one, YOU ARE truly blessed, but you are 5% compared to the rest of the women in the world.

Pretty privilege is just people being nicer to you in public settings. It doesn’t change a man or the true intentions of a person. I’ve started to have an issue with this ‘pretty privilege’. I feel like it gives ‘pick me’ behavior tbh. Adriana Lima gave her virginity to a man who then cheated on her… while Ina Garten (famous chef) has been married to her husband for over 50 years. Pretty privilege is for the birds.
@thewisdomdivatv
@thewisdomdivatv Ай бұрын
Just because Ina has been married for 50 years doesn’t mean she hasn’t been getting dogged for 50 years. Anyone can be in a long term relationship or marriage but it doesn’t mean they’re happy or that the man is faithful.

@ thewisdomdivatv girl, I actually agree with you. I was going to say how we won’t ever know what is truly happening behind closed doors of Ina’s marriage, BUT for 50 years, that man has supported her career (she was meant to be a housewife, but she was so bored, he helped her set up her famous store ‘The barefoot contessa’, and he had a lot of appearances in her TV show, never taking the spotlight either). At least we have never heard of any scandals, and there isn’t even a whiff of bad behavior. For 50 years, that’s an achievement for ANYONE (and they are a famous couple!). The point I was trying to make is that beauty doesn’t guarantee you a damn thing in this world. I think confidence goes further than beauty (and unlike beauty, confidence pushes away dusties and insecure people).
@nursefulness2274
@nursefulness2274 Ай бұрын
@lookatyou5809 girl, you’re right. Pretty privilege is a double edged sword bc I believe it attracts some of the worst people in society. I strive to be beautiful (because that’s just a personal goal of mine), but even more than that, I strive to be confident. Confidence will filter out all the bad eggs who come into your life. Beauty attract both good and bad (but the bad it attracts is enough to destroy your life). Also, I’m sure you’re beautiful girl! Keep shining and work on that confidence.

I’ve seen too many women in this exact situation in my life. They ended up being baby mama #2,3,4 with no ring. If they do get one it’s that standard cluster “shut up ring”. I knew 4 women whose guys would propose just so they wouldn’t leave and he’ll make up a reason to break the engagement because he didn’t want to marry in the first place. This happened to each 3 or more times. They eventually left but had wasted years of their lives and are single moms in the harem the men rotates as a placeholders. I don’t get it. Not saying this is Miracle but male identified women always end up in this place because they think they’re “better” than the other women. Why would a man who left the woman he was with for a decade that had 2 kids under 3 when he met you be marriage material? Beauty doesn’t inspire morality. She should’ve kept him as a sneaky link until she found a man who was clear about marrying her imo.

How many of these women actually grew up in married homes- like, had a mother in their home that was married to their father? The Blk community is very disenfranchised and divided which is why these cycles repeat themselves. That’s why women should do less. Don’t give a man ANY of your essence without COMMITMENT and I mean courtship not this cesspool of dating. Give NOTHING. Do NOTHING. The man of character who is for you will do what he needs to do, move mountains etc. The egg never goes after the sperm, just rests in the womb and waits patiently. The sperm has to sacrifice energy and its entire self to have ‘her. These men these days MUST be made to work to get a woman and even then they still have to be vetted for character. Because just working hard still doesn’t prove character all the way.

I think we need to stop thinking of marriage as a win or a necessity for everyone. I'm not saying that man doesn't want to be with her, I'm saying that he should express his intentions clearly to her in private. It's kinda like proposing in public when you ask a person or couple if they want to get married or when they will. People need to stop putting other people in that position because it will end badly.

It is the biggest crock ever devised. Fortunately, marriage itself is dying in the West, and I say good riddance. It is incompatible with women's rights. 3:30 I don’t know why but it feels a little icky to make the distinction “beautiful women”. Like why are we talking about these women in terms of their appearance rather than acknowledging that they are whole people? Yes, I do understand that being beautiful grants you certain advantages in dating and maybe makes it easier to find a partner in certain situations but it doesn’t prevent you from making poor choices. Miracle’s poor choice of man and wherever that stems from is more relevant to the conversation and beneficial to discuss than reducing her to her physical package and then saying “see! Pretty girls get cheated on too.” It’s not helpful, it’s reductive and kind of insulting. And who said looks would save you? I’ve never heard that. Most of the beautiful women I know have experienced lots of pain and hardship. Having a bad time in life isn’t exclusive to ugly people.

I wanna know if she got pregnant cuz he was dragging his feet 2 commit cuz as women we know! Now…she was ok until she got pregnant.She could’ve walked outta there childfree 2 got her commitment somewhere else.Then boom…he woulda really look like the man-child he is. Now, he done wasted her time, she enabled him 2 break her heart, he made things difficult for her to get to her next relationship cuz he might use that co-parenting mess to stop her from moving on, he made her look bad which I think is BS btw cuz he was single, his ex signed herself up to be a place holder/ barbara the builder.She wasn’t wrong to love the man yet it was her responsibility to make sure she was getting the commitment she also wanted before procreating with him Us women gotta understand how men are wired especially if we wanna deal with them.Most men are not compassionate by nature.What you allow is gonna continue If u walked in there as the special snowflake, keep acting that way until u get what u got with that man for!If it’s not coming, leave him.

He doesn't want to marry a woman that's scandales because if she was willing to do anything for attention why would he take her seriously and she stole him from his baby mama.🤦

4:00 It's silly to tell folks of social media 'mind your business', on a topic when it's the person that raised that topic - post their dirty laundry or drama ON SOCIAL MEDIA! Smh. Also, 'pretty privilege' IS NOT A THING. It pre-supposes that the woman wants to be picked, cause she looks good on the outside. That may be the case, however, what TYPE of attention is key. Being good looking on the outside IS NOT A PRIVILAGE OR BADGE OF HONOR. LOOKING GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE MAY MAKE YOUR LIFE MORE MISERABLE THAN IF YOU DIDN'T LOOK GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE. People that look good on the outside, get a lot of attention from the opposite sex, and opens up their dating options. Where is the privilege there? LADIES...the privilege to me - IS NOT GETTING ATTENTION FROM MALES (as I want demons to leave me DF alone - all of them), because it's ALWAYS sexual attention. When you get with a male after he lusts after you, once you get physical with him and got what he wanted, he's done - he'll cheat on you, abuse you, subject you to S.A., D.V or un-alive you. Looking good on the outside doesn't mean that your character is good or that others around you will treat you good - know that!

💔Miracle walks around shaking her tail in the air whenever she gets a chance, whether famous or not… what man would possibly want his wife, the woman who is a reflection of him, shaking her tail in front of whom ever she’s around. She definitely needs to learn how to handle herself like a future wife before demanding that title. But as so many have stated.. Tyler is the “fun” guy, definitely not the type to settle down.. he works for a show called P-Valley.. like imagine the type of women he will constantly work with 🫠

That’s a lie, he was engaged to his previous baby mama. Plus they got together almost a year after the first baby mama. Ask the baby mama herself, they were not together when she had their last kid. Plus different people bring out different things in people. Just because he was with his first for 10 years doesn’t mean they were ready for marriage. Also who said that he just up and left the fiancé? Sometimes people still try to make the relationship work even after its been dead. It’s sad that y’all don’t even know the full situation and are judging miracle smh. However I do agree that you should watch how your partner treat others.
