I'm a middle-age woman who is solidly Gen X and my generation's mantra has aways been what other people do is their own business and none of mine. I would be horrified if I was filmed by someone in the gym because of my appearance. I just wouldn't even think about filming someone and posting it on line. The lady who does the filming acts like it's her right to post the video. What about the other lady's right to just work out? Maybe it's me, but it just seems like a mean thing to do. Just because you are in public doesn't mean others have license to film and post it, at least I believe the gym has that policy right? Well, the outcome wasn't what the original poster wanted. 😅😅😅

This is why I love my Anytime Fitness gym. It's not big like Planet Fitness, and they DO NOT PLAY that recording ppl shyt, they will IMMEDIATELY revoke your membership and ban you. You aren't on a contract, but you have to sign a disclosure to only record in a specific area away from others. It's a safety measure and owned by military vets. $10-$20 a month versus $40-$50 a month makes a difference in the type of fitness enthusiasts you encounter.
