Simple Green I use for hard dirt. Some would say dawn soap.. but would also use Palmolive soap

Did you ceramic coat the truck? It would make cleaning both easier and more difficult. Dirt comes off easier but you want to avoid automatic touch car washes because they can ruin the coating. You should do a short video of the pros and cons of dual alternators on an hd truck.

@@JB_WhoWork you can use the Turtle wax wipe on wipe off ceramic coating it’s cheap easy and works just doesn’t last like the professional product. I do mine in October and may. The cerakote for black plastic trim is awesome as well.

I saw a guy here who tried to go through an automated car wash with one not quite that muddy but honestly, it was pretty close. I never did see the interaction but I was vacuuming mine and saw them directing him back out of the lane.

Do you know that, when the sidestep is deployed, if you keep one foot on it after closing the vehicle door, it won’t retract. It will stay deployed for you to clean it up

Just be careful with the pressure washer on the frame. 40* tip will probably be ok but a 15* up close will definitely cut the wax.

Make sure you get any of that mud stuck on the frame- it will trap moisture against your frame…..
