People watching in the park.

A sunny Sunday afternoon. Lovely to sit on a park bench and watch people enjoying themselves. Mums and dads with children, kicking a ball about. People walking their dogs. Happy families sitting around a picnic. Pensioners strolling along the paths. Getting outside in nature is important for good mental health.

Hello. I have never been quick to learn new ideas, preferring to stick with what I know. Tried and tested methods. My brain cannot absorb information at a fast pace, at the time it happens. I soak up facts like a sponge sucking up water, gradually over a period of time. Eventually I get the full picture, but there are always some more dots to join. Now I am at the stage where I get it, and wonder why other people aren't. Children are the future, always have been, always will be. They, the rich people, have to control them, to cover up the goddam mess they have made through greed. Population control is their method, and they will do that with whatever method they have at their disposal. Be aware and look after yourself. Lots of love xxx ilona

im 57 and when i had school hollidays we used to get up eat and the park was at the end of our road and we went down and met up with mates and then play we would take a sandwich wuith us and have this then few times we would go home and let them no we were ok and go back and go home again let them see us and get a dringk and go back again all summer we did this it had swings see saw paddling pool there was always aduld with there kids we new and we felt safe if we didnt we would go sit with someones mum or dad then go home for tea time i think today kids are on mobiles pcs playstations and dont no how to play i loved it xxkathy

Thank you for sharing that. My childhood was pretty similar. We didn't have a park, but we had a big patch of green grass in the middle of the houses. We would ride up and down on our scooters and roller skates. Mum used to stand at the front door and shout our names to come in for dinner.

I love people watching always have a great way to pass the time.I agree with you llona thank goodness l lived in a time when kids had freedom, what a contrast to the children of today.l have children grandchildren and great grandchildren and wonder what their future will be.I dont turn the news on anymore its so depressing.lf they keep the people poor it gives them more control..

The problem for humans is we only have the memory of our generation and so we have a limited view on life.. we have been on the brink of destruction for centuries... humanity keeps keeping on and the children of each generation faces a new slew of challenges and threats.

You are right. My mum was horrified that I went out wearing hotpants as a teenager in the sixties. It's a wonder I didn't get raped. But I didn't. Now parents have to worry about their kids being turned into robots. Or having surgery to lop off their bits and bobs. It's a crazy world we live in.

Ilona my granddaughter came home from school last week & I asked her what she had learned this week in school 😳 She’s 10 yrs old!!!! She told me her teacher had told the class girls & boys mixed … about what wet dreams are 😮 I am mortified 😢

Did you know they're coming for our animals next? Apparently cats have to be chipped or else. Well mines not, he's 18 and his his last phase of life so I won't be doing that to him. Thinking ahead here, they could suddenly have a terrible strain of cat flu then come and take all our registered pets.....you know anything you register you give away. 😢

Yes I do believe that the way they will control us will be through taking away our animals. Not just the pets, but those we eat as well. They say there will be a new pandemic, called bird flu. They say that because they are working on it. Millions of animals will be culled.

I just had a new baby grandchild, I do wonder what kind of country she will grow up in. I have no idea which party to vote for in the election. I feel it’s like choosing between being attacked by a bear, a crocodile or a lion, none of which is appealing

The election process is like a circus. I don't read manifestos because they are all clutching at straws making promises that they know will never work. Use your vote, it is your democratic right to voice your opinion in whichever way you see fit. Congratulations on a new grandchild. I believe we are on a journey which will alter the very fabric of human society. There are changes afoot, which will not always be in our best interests. It may be necessary for parents and grandparents to stick with their own principles of how bringing up a child should be. Reject indoctrination. Use your own common sense. You can only do your best.
