@@fredericksaxton9782 Actually, I would feel very sorry for anyone breaking into my house in the dark. They would absolutely do themselves a naughty with all the toe, ankle and knee traps of furniture etc. scattered around. Not to mention stepping on a cat no one can see in the dark. She has no issue stripping flesh from bone for the vaguest excuse. Can just imagine a cop looking around and going "OMG, you've been VANDALIZED AS WELL.." and me going "Umm. No. This is what it looks like all the time". "Anything missing?" "Can't tell yet...I'll let you know when I go looking for it"...

That last story is so infuriating. You're going to have the owner charged for bodily harm when you couldn't be bothered to look into the thefts in the first place? If he had had a loud burglar alarm instead, would you file a noise pollution citation against him? Cops like that make it so hard to trust and respect authority figures.

7:00 I'll do you a better one. That reminds me of a story that I heard years ago. It was of an old couple who keept getting robbed over and over and they were family heirlooms and while they tried putting up sign, naturally it didn't work. They ended up putting a....let's call it a "boomstick" on the window in such a way that if someone tried to break in yet again it would give them a surprise. When it finally happened, I'd say the thief learned a lesson but I guess not since then he actually sued them. I don't remember much about it so I'm probably forgetting many many things 😅

i just imagined an elderly couple rigging a window to light up a fast acting wick to some dynamite so every time some one came through the windows they would have roughly 5 seconds before the dynamite blows up the burglars nuts while reading your comment.

I didn't know if KZbin's comunity guidlines would go crazy with comments too. I pretty sure they got sued cos they essentially crippled the guy, and he was racking up an excessive amount of medical debt along with not really being able to work due to his injury. It's an interesting case as to were you draw the line as to what's reasonable or excessive when it comes to protecting your property. Personally I think booby traps that cause I injury are only reasonable if it's something that the person can realistically notice and be deterred by before being mauled. For example, shotguns and pitfalls with spikes over the line; dogs, guards, barbed wire, spikes on window sill reasonable precautions.

I had a raggedy old Mazda pickup truck that had some live-bait fish hooks in the glove box. Well, one day I decided I was going to take them out and put them in my fishing tackle box. I did, and the following weekend somebody popped my truck door open and swept all the contents of the glove box out onto the floor. It left me a little salty because I had already taken the fish hooks out at that point.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? In this first story his old boss got himself into some major trouble and he's just trying to blame this man who quit the company 6 months way ahead of time. In the second story, everything worked out for the best because both their daughter and the mother-in-law got to celebrate their birthdays. In this third, I get the roommates wanting to plays pranks and stuff, but they really should've examined the actual size of their apartment. In this story, Jade was trying to be sneaky and clever but that was all to no avail and she even had the nerve to try and play dumb. when all that failed In this last story, I thought that the police said that they couldn't do anything about the break-ins but yet they were so quick to rush out their when that man told them about the blood being all over his cabin. The man was defending his home, and he just got tired of his place being burglarized and chose to do something about it. These were some more amazing stories!! I love you!! Stay safe!!
