As a party planner Rule 1: I never tell anyone where I live especially if I'm going to their location. Rule 2: I only take half deposit upfront, the remaining balance 48 before the event. Rule 3: If you disrespect me( I feel scared) in anyway, you lose your deposit. But you get your remaining balance back. I have clients sign a contract!

I disagree with the Judge about the defendants text and breaching the contract. The plaintiff was acting a fool over $45 and a mistake. I actually think the defendant was being as nice as possible in that text. She didn't say she wasn't going to do it. When someone is being rude to you and acting like they have a problem with your work, why wouldn't you give them the option to pull out if they want. She even ends the conversation by saying she understands if the plaintiff doesn't want her to do it and to let her know what she decides.

I agree. My 1st reason for being taken aback was the reason for the shower; "she didn't have one with her 1st child". Use 2nd hand clothes. For that $500, buy the newborn some gifs. Otherwise, do online "Evite", buy Dollar Tree/Target decor, miniature quiches/sandwiches and cake from Costco or Sam's. Use everyday common sense skills, save $$ and exhibit behavior expected of someone who desires to live long enough to attend the shower.

Weird case. The judge made some untrue comments. The text she read said the customer could pickup the items if she wanted to do it herself. She didn't say she wasn't refusing to do it. @@spacecase8791 God knows how other countries survive without the amount of guns the US has with no checks/ licence/ waiting period. I can't imagine doing an active shooter drill at school, let alone the real thing. A 6yr old just shot its teacher.... Yes, I hate being safe.

@@elenawilliams32 You apparently aren't American if you really believe the lies that there are no waiting periods to buy a weapon. We have so many regulations it isn't even funny. I should have to give up my right because of someone else. If someone wants to harm someone they are going to do it no matter what. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. In other countries that don't allow guns knife crimes are way higher than here. People will find a way. Good people shouldn't lose out because others do bad. Guns also protect us against government. We aren't being controlled as other populations because we have actual threats and rights against over government. There are many reason we want to protect our gun rights.
