The Defendant guaranteed SHE would reimburse the Plaintiff if the girl didn't pay up. And, the Plaintiff wasn't playing with waiting for her money. She saw the writing on the wall and filed a case. Some people don't deserve your friendship. If the Defendant had made ANY effort to pay the Plaintiff, this probably wouldn't have ended up in court. Sad.

A long time friend ended our friendship because I didn't want to store her broken down freezer anymore. To this day my grown kids will say, I can't believe she ended our friendsgip over a freezer😆 that's how you find out who's true and who's not. You stop letting them use you. I'm in my 60's and have 3 buddies I went to elementary, high school and University of Georgia together. We travel to on golf trips, go to UGA games and playoffs. Someone will put the flights, Airbnb, tickets on their visa and we always settle-up on the trip. I would trust these guys with my life. But others not so much. I used to run a business, anytime I loaned money, sold a car, rented a house I ALWAYS had a contract. Only these guys to I truly trust. My son and his daughter live in one of my houses and I have a rental agreement with him. I trust him but I have a contract with them as they save for their own house. I do it for their records.

Really only had one instance but When traveling in the country it's a little different. A lot of times when we were in the college football playoffs, UGA, we'd get an airbnb, flights and rental car. So insurance on the flights and house were worth losing a little bit, but fortunately we never did.

The minute I heard the defendant say that she was behind in rent payments I knew that she had absolutely no intention or way of repaying any monies back to the plaintiff because her actions regarding her rent payment clearly show that she is an irresponsible type of person. Anyone who can't afford to pay their rent certainly shouldn't be taking vacation cruises. How about we dont even think about buying anything except our basics such as rent, utilities etc. till I actually have money' cash. Remember paying with credit is a debt whichever way you look at it and It still has interest payments as well. Delayed satisfaction is what it's called. Enjoy the planning, mark it off on the calender and save as much as you can. The satisfaction is so much greater than having a debt. long after the event is over.
