No Tint, No Ticket

The plaintiff and defendant have known each other since high school, and they dated for a while. He was driving the defendant’s car and got pulled over for illegally tinted windows, and he got a ticket for it. He claims his ex-girlfriend, the defendant, told him she would pay for the ticket fines, but she never did. His license got suspended and he was pulled from her insurance policy, so he’s suing. The defendant argues she never said she would cover the ticket costs.

NC does. They'll send you a notice to surrender your DL within literally 1 day of their receipt of notification from your insurance company. I'm sure several other states do the same, as well.

Honestly I think it's just like any other "buzzword" people use nowadays. People will say "offended" and "triggered" in the same way, even if it's not really something offensive. Like now we have "phobia" being thrown around like a frizbee, when in reality, people are just not in the know about your lifestyle and/or don't support it. Age, a 16 yr old doesn't have the 30 years experience driving, that I do. And Zip code, just look at San Francisco vs the low crime where I live in Amador County. In S.F. your vehicle WILL get windows smashed, things stolen, the vehicle stolen, or a homeless person dedicating in it. That won't happen in my county. That's why prices are different according to age or zip code, it's not age, it's how many years driving.
