This case was a cornucopia of sketch. The defendants are shady and unprofessional subcontractors and the plaintiff has sticky fingers. Seems highly inappropriate to take stuff off job sites to line ones pockets at the scrap yard. Dude was like “stuff was leaving the building everyday”, so he was like “some of that stuff should leave with me”. 😂 How are you transporting the equipment to do your job while doing that? So inappropriate and lacking boundaries. Dude was clearly pretty extra to that assistant principal as well for the entire company to get fired; it says a lot that the school or the contractor didn’t allow anyone to come back and at least pick up their property.
@langstonwalker1618
@langstonwalker1618 2 жыл бұрын
Then he took something someone else wanted or had dibs on. It’s still inappropriate. He was a temporary worker for a subcontractor. I would imagine there’s a hierarchy or order to these things as you pointed out. You aren’t supposed to just take everything in sight or load up your van everyday like it’s a free for all.

When sites are demo'd a lot of times arrangements are made like this. The reasoning is the company pays a recycler to come in and they get paid by the pound. Anything leaving a site costs less. As for the vice principal? Plenty of people use their influence for stupid reasons. She got butthurt over the exchange and got them fired. And made a big spectacle about it.

Correct. Litigants on non-scripted court shows do not "audition" or send the story of their cases to production. Staff of the show researches pending cases through public record to see if there are any they find interestimg. A PA then contacts the litigants asking if they would like to drop their court cases and have it settled by a mediator (the TV judge). So people can't/don't just conspire and make up a situation to get on these shows and make money.

I know someone who had a company vehicle. He went through flood water on the road on his way to do a job. Insurance didn't cover it. Judge should have requested all billings for jobs in question The van charges would show what the customers were paid for... If the defendants couldn't produce billings Then she should use plaintiffs records

So the Plaintiff wrecks the company vehicle and they have to pay him for having to use his own. Thats BS!

THREE YEARS??? I think the Plaintiff is SHADY!! Don’t believe a word! I doubt the Defendants as well! IMHO JUDGE WILLIAMS SHOULD DISMISS BOTH CASES!

Of course you can sue! At least for the deductible!!! Company vehicles should be legally registered and insured but that doesn't exempt responsibility from who's driving and caused the accident.

Both sides are sketchy. The defendants should have paid for the van. No question about that. Hard to know about the plaintiff. He explained every mishap away but did we get to the truth? The swearing situation I can believe happened that way. What about the engines? Was it really as innocent as he made it sound? What about the Rolex? I didn't hear any clear denials about that? He denied that he said his friend did it. I felt he was skirting around the truth. I think it was right that they received nothing on the counter claim and that he finally received his van money.

I worked 293 overtimes hours implementing a computer system install all approved and known about, funny when the new operations manager started and didnt like me he played the overtime isn't in our contract game this happened because I wanted to take some time off using those hours . The install would never have been done in normal work hours. Needless to say I resign on the spot.

I love the big guy behind Harvey with the "perpetually confused" resting face. It's definitely a testament of the wives tale of "make that face long enough and it will freeze that way!" I'd guess he's spent many years working ouside in the sun and squinting. He's not unattractive, though. I think his look gives him character.
