“Eating good in the neighborhood” sounds like the bougie cousin of a “fancy Applebee’s dinner”. I like Applebees for what it is, but I wouldn’t go on television and call it “fancy”. It’s clear they didn’t get a 2 for $20 either… 😂 😆 😝

The announcer says as part of the plaintiff’s introduction that *”She even bought her a FANCY APPLEBY’S diner…..”* & as he’s finishing up the intro., I sat thinking to myself: I love eating there when I’m across the border shopping or to see one of my sons in university in the States ( we’re from Canada 🇨🇦 ) BUT *FANCY & APPLEBY’S* should *NEVER* be in the same sentence like this!!!!! 😂🤣

True story... When I was young a friend of mine bought tickets to a Pat Benatar concert for him and this girl he wanted to take. She back out at the last moment, so now he's stuck with this extra ticket. He asked me to go, which I meant buying the extra ticket. I didn't want to go; although I'm a huge fan of hers. I reluctantly agree to go. Keep in mind none of this is made up. We getting ready to go to the event. He was driven. We hopped in his car and his car wouldn't start. It decided that night to break down! I was okay with it because I didn't want to go in the first place! Two day's later he asked me for the ticket money. I was like, WTF!!! I'm not giving you any money for a concert ticket, I didn't want to go in the first place; plus your car prevent us from attending. We went back and forth for weeks on this, and it didn't help that we worked at the same company. It was bad, very bad! Another friend of ours approached me and said I was wrong! Once again WTF! He was right, once I agree to go and take the ticket off his hands, it was my ticket! That's all it took was someone sitting down with me and laying it out. No yes, men's, no family members supporting my wrongdoing, just a natural bystander and the truth!
@alyssahamlett2 жыл бұрын
Actually I don't agree I think you were in the right he asked you to go because he had a ticket that was going to go to waste if he didn't ask somebody else to go. if he would have said front do you wanna buy this ticket then yes you would be responsible, But if he just had an extra ticket and called and asked you to go and then his car was the one that broke down preventing both of you from going there is no way I would pay for that ticket, he took advantage of you bc of his bad luck

Why is it that lazy people with no moral compass seem to get so angry about people who try to do the right thing, like getting a job, and paying for their own things? In their twisted little minds the fault is never theirs.

The plaintiff was struggling from minute one to remember all of the moving parts of the cockamamie story that she made up about the clutch and everything else. If the defendant hadn't confessed to owing the money during the trial, the plaintiff would've lost because nothing she was saying was remotely believable. Either you have integrity or you don't. Either you have a moral compass or you don't. Either you are a responsible individual or you are not. Either you are a good person or you are not... Sadly, this defendant appears to be deficient in any personal quality that is worthy & worthwhile.

How is it that so many of these people say they have proof on their phone, but they “changed phones and no longer have the proof?!”
@uts444810 ай бұрын
Right! It's always that or the phone broke recently (funny how the phone always break when you need it for court) or they deleted the messages. It's not common for people to routinely delete their text messages. Emails? Yes. Texts? No.

Then don't make it a loan. Just straight up tell the friend that he can have the money for free.
@uts444810 ай бұрын
@@AT-jm4dlNo. You don't want your friends to think they can just get free money from you. By making it a loan, there is a possibility that you might get your money back. Which is why when I loan any friend money, the max I give is $20. (If they want more, they can take out a loan.) If they pay me back, I'll be happy they remembered. And since I wasn't expecting to get paid back, it'll be like a nice surprise (like @MyGoodenessGracious said). If they don't pay me back, I'm only out $20, but now I know not to give them money anymore. When you understand this, you will never have conflict with your friends over money.
