So peeps need to keep their driving affairs in order (the criminal element are on their own), stay there & ride out the stop to whatever (legal) end, & DON'T go rabbit on the damn cops!!!, it don't much end well, & on that I got 2 cousins below ground to prove it.

When I was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, I was hit from behind in my brand new car, on my way to re-certify my EMT 🤦🏽♀️ There didn’t appear to be any real damage just a couple of small scratches on my bumper, and I wasn’t in any pain at all. The man and I exchanged information, and I went to my class, told my instructor what had happened, and he urged me to go to the ER. but I told him I felt fine, and simply sat down in class. After about 20 minutes, I started to get a really bad headache, and the back of my neck started to hurt really bad. I went to the ER, and it turns out that I had a fractured C5, which STILL bothers me all these years later. When the insurance adjusters examined my vehicle, they discovered that there actually *was* significant damage, however, it was to the undercarriage, so it wasn’t visible unless you were underneath the car. The guy that ran into me hit me so hard, that he basically crushed the frame forward underneath the back of my car. I say all of this to say, that it is very possible for someone to be injured during an accident, and not feel it immediately, and it is also very possible to have significant damage to your vehicle, and not see it on the surface. Also, apparently the idiotic defendant is not aware that hospital staff documents EVERY significant thing can you tell them, especially when it involves prescription, over-the-counter drugs, or even illicit drug use. You could literally tell them that you just smoked crack, and they have to document it, because of course it could affect the type of care they they render to you. You can't judge the pain from an accident by the damage to the car. In 2009, on a rainy day, I got rear-ended by a guy who slammed his brakes too late while I was at a red light. The guy who hit me was really scared and freaking out. Since there was hardly any damage to my car, I told him not to worry and that I was fine. Little did I know that 2 months later I would start feeling a pinching pain in my back. I was going through a 4-month military training at the time so could not really take any legal action. 13 years later, I still have that pain in my back. It mostly flares up when I do situps.

The two seemed in the court room like they had no remorse! But after the judge got a hold of them and let them know how could anyone be so heartless? It appears to me not until after court was over did they both show a Lil remorse. Learned taught lesson! Thanks for sharing! It was a very interesting case.

The obvious elephant in the room... I can bet my life on the fact that if the plaintiff was the one who hit the defendants while drunk and fled the scene, he would have been in jail within a week. The police would have reviewed the evidence almost immediately. There's an obvious negligence all round because of the plaintiff's origin.

Origin? No. Color? Yes. We’re the only ones foolish enough to think that origin matters. They look at all of us and think the same thing, before you get a chance to say “Zimbabwe” or “Watts.” It’s all the same to a bigot. Also note that the kids are Hispanic, not white, and they are 10x’s worse than a standard American racist. As a Californian who deals with Hispanic racism daily, I’d take a white Klansman over a Hispanic any day. At least the Klansman is honest.

When I was in my early 20's, my boyfriend and I got knocked by another car. I can tell you that the car got off lightly, but I was in agony for days. I am still, at 52yrs old a non-driver. Ok, so I'm a nervous person naturally but still. Also, my friend was a taxi driver and was hit by a drunk driver, the passenger he was carrying was killed outright. Taxi drivers have a great deal of responsibility towards their charges and are physically tense a lot of the time, which doesn't help if your hit. These two people need to go and see a few crash victims and the damage that drink drivers cause and they should be made to do either, time inside jail or community service in a hospital.

It's the audacity for me. And the fact that he said, "you live, and you learn?" That wasn't a learning experience for them. They knew exactly what they were doing when they fled the scene. They didn't learn anything. It's also the apathy for me.
@elvickRULES2 жыл бұрын
Who knows how many times they’ve done it before without being caught. They learned nothing from this because there weren’t real consequences other than being seen as scum by some people they’ll never meet (people watching the show). The show covers the costs of any verdict so they aren’t paying anything, weren’t arrested. Sad.

Should have went in front of Judge Mathis. He would have gave him the max for his state. We all know both of them were drunk driving. How ironic that the defendant pointed out that the plaintiff was taking medication "illegally" when they committed a crime. Then they tried to commit another crime by attempting to bribe the plaintiff, and the witness. Moreover, neither defendant showed any remorse in my opinion!

The fact that the defendant is saying that it is illegal for the plaintiff to take his friend’s Percocet to relieve pain from an accident THEY caused, but yet she’s driving without insurance and fleeing the scene of an accident. To me what makes a person pretty/handsome or ugly is their personality. Not their looks. I've been married 5 times so I found that out the hard way. My best one was my 3rd. We were married 10 years. Together 2 before. He was no Adonis. But he was a sweetheart with a kind heart. I left him bec I couldn't have children anymore and he had none but wanted them. He had 2 with his second wife 3 with his 3rd and adopted her son. Unfortunately he passed away from cancer in his 50s. We were friends until that unfortunate day.

They BOTH were definitely drunk which is why they fled. Smh Edit. He should have gotten more. The kid has the nerve to have his father call him and tell him he was harassing them? Also, many ppl aren't sure what kind of proof they need. So sad. I hope karma pays both those defendants a nice visit.
